"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "

"If you are looking for a secluded spot, this is the place. We enjoyed going for walks and kayaking around the island. The kitchen is spacious so we did a fair bit of cooking, although it’s a short drive into town to go out to dinner if that’s what you prefer. The only drawback is that the downstairs bedroom was a bit loud because of pumps turning on and off at night, but if you’re a sound sleeper that shouldn’t be a problem. "

"You could not ask for a better host than Claire! She was so kind to us during our stay. The house was just as described and the perfect place for us to stay for our 30th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia. The views were amazing, the beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy fire. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Nearby Polly's Cove is a beautiful hike. We highly recommend this property!"

"Upon booking we did not realize the cottage was off grid. However, the host was good about explaining how to manage the solar power and generator. We arrived at dusk and found it hard to navigate our way through the trees and multiple turns to get to the cottage. It is a unique location on a beautiful lake. Unfortunately we were there during a heatwave, the lack of fans or AC made it unbearable and we left after one night. Another deciding factor of our early departure were a multitude of...

"My wife and I had a wonderful week at this rustic and well appointed cottage in Upper Kingsburg. The place was clean, comfortable, and has a completely outfitted kitchen. Most importantly, the bed in the master bedroom slept well. The location is gorgeous. The sound of the surf on Hirtle's Beach was a constant companion. The hike around Gaff Point is a must. The scenery is fantastic and the trail is moderate with some sections crisscrossed by tree roots. Stay safely back from the eroding cliff...
