This lovely home is completely functional and comfortable for large groups with plenty of gathering spaces. Furnished in contemporary rustic comfort, this 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom lake house has everything you need. a cozy gas fireplace, Air conditioning, 2 Large smart tv's, free wifi, tons of games, a grill on the deck, a private 6 person hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen plus an extra full sized fridge for drinks and COMPLIMENTARY SODA AND COOKIES! There are always treats at Grandma's house!


When you're not enjoying the sandy beaches and crystal blue water on the lakefront, biking around Garden City on the public bike path or trying the nearby ATV, snowmobile trails, you can enjoy a game of soccer, tetherball, football or volleyball in the huge yard complete with clubhouse playset for the kids, roast marshmallows under the stars around the fire pit or unwind in the private hot tub on the spacious deck, or relax in the comfy hammock sky chairs overlooking beautiful Bear Lake.

Family friendly and fun place to stay
The owners thought of everything. This is a very comfortable, well-equipped place to stay! The playground and yard outside were very fun, and the view is outstanding.

We love grandma’s house!!!!
This property was perfect for our family reunion! There is so much space for families to spread out and the yard was amazing for kids! The cousins has such a great time playing on the slides and the playground. We loved the fence on the edge of the yard which made it perfect for a fun game of soccer in the yard. We were able to find great free public beaches near by too. It was an awesome find for us and we can’t wait to stay there again!!!

LOVE THIS HOUSE!
This house was perfect for our large family! Our kids had a blast with volleyball, tether ball, soccer balls, tennis, and an amazing fire pit and hot tub! Beautiful views no matter where you were on the property! Even free treats (root beer and Oreos)! We will stay again!

We liked everything about the house except a few things. Great view, comfortable seating, lots of kids books and toys outside. It was pretty clean. Unfortunately there was no soap or shampoo in the showers. The hand soap at the sinks was watered down. And there was no laundry detergent. The air conditioning worked especially well in the basement, not quite as well on the top floor. However, the weather was cool enough to open the windows at night. Beach towels were supposed to be supplied but were not where they were supposed to be and there were only a few. We didn't really use the kitchen. There was only one replacement garbage sack that we found.

The view is wonderful
The view is fantastic. We had plenty of space for our group. The kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the tether ball and swingset. Roxan was great to work with. She was helpful, kind, and responsive. One thing to note… the basement is so cold compared to the upstairs. I recommend closing all the vents in the basement if you turn the AC on to cool the upstairs. I wished we would have brought more warm clothes for those sleeping in the basement but, luckily, there were plenty of blankets in the house to use. Overall, we had a good trip.

Highly recommend!
The view is amazing! The house is clean and comfortable. We had our family reunion there that included 10 adults and 7 kids. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor play area. It is covered with turf and fenced at the lower part. Kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils, appliances, and cookware. 2 refrigerator/freezers made it very nice. The kitchen table was large enough to fit at least 12 people, but you could probably squeeze in a couple more. Oh, and there was a card table that we set up to hold all the non- refrigerated food that we brought. We all loved Grandma‘s House and highly recommend it to others.

All good!
Everything was wonderful, except check in. We were never given a code for entry to the property. When we called the owners they were not picking up. We were fortunate that someone showed up to service the property. Though they did not have access for entry, they were able to get ahold of a family member that eventually was able to get us in. we spent the 1st 2 hours of our vacation standing at the door. everything else... wonderful and perfect. I would stay again.

Great Family Reunion Location
We stayed here for a family reunion! We had 28 people at this location. It worked out great- we were out and about all day and with the playground and grassy area for the kids to play it never felt like we were overcrowded. Some Pros/Cons about Grandmas Cabin: Pros: Grassy area/Playground, Close to EVERYTHING in Bear Lake. Extra Fridge for all the food, Access to all amenities at Harbor Village. Clean, The Hot tub was nice to sit in after a long day. Cons: The AC was frozen before we got there so we had no AC the whole time we were there. Thankfully this was Labor Day weekend so the evenings were cool, We brought our bikes so we could ride down to the bike trail but the Cabin ended up being on a hill that no one wanted to bike back up (we are lazy) but the scooters we brought were used a lot around the property, The WIFI stopped working on us while we were there. In the notes it said that wifi would work through Labor Day but it ended up stopping the Saturday BEFORE labor day. All in all, This was a great place for our family reunion and I would go back!

Nice but needs some improvements!
We loved the cabin, the view, the playground for the kids and the swings for the adults! We didn’t, however, appreciate food left in the fridge or freezer which didn’t appear to have been cleaned, kind of gross for us. With a $100 cleaning fee, we certainly expected a cleaner place when we arrived. The floors didn’t feel clean, there were hair clips, wrappers and other paraphernalia left under beds and behind dressers that we thought should have been noticed and picked up during cleaning. It was almost impossible to be up, have breakfast, shower and pack up, remove sheets, take out garbage and haul down to the trash receptical, wash and dry towels before leaving at 11:00. It seemed like a lot of requests in such a short amount of time. We would probably stay again, but hope that the ‘shared food’ idea would go away and the cleaning process would have been taken a little more seriously. It’s hard moving into someone else’s left over dirt. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!!

Annual Getaway
My siblings & I have an annual get together every year in October & this by far has been our favorite home we have stayed at! The views were amazing, the home was super clean & beautiful, the playground entertained the kids for hours, the hotub on the patio was awesome, especially for late night or early morning relaxation. This home was just so enjoyable & I highly recommend a stay at Grandma’s Lakehouse!

Loved it again!!!
We returned to this property for a second summer and it was perfect again! We love it here!!! The view of the lake is amazing and it’s only a short drive to lots of beaches. The kids loved playing on the playground and hot tub. All age groups had a great time and there was plenty of room to spread out. We would love to come back again.

Such a great house! Everyone commented on how nice it is. Super well stocked, lots of beach towels and blankets, etc. Having 2 fridges is amazingly helpful. If anything the house is nicer than the listing indicates.

Fun family reunion house
We had a wonderful time staying at Grandma’s House. It’s a perfect set up for a family reunion of 10-20 people. We loved the fun yard, the swings beneath the deck, the gorgeous view of the lake, the plentiful seating for meals and well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax in the evening after a day at the lake, and the kids enjoyed the books and games at the house. We had a wii bowling tournament on the big screen downstairs, and we really appreciated the chest of beach towels for guests to use, as some in our party had flown and hadn’t brought any. It was a perfect weekend at this great house! We would love to stay again in the future.

Cute house, fun yard- terrible access
The house was very nice with gorgeous lake views, however, it is located at the end of a dead end street with a steep driveway which made it a nightmare to try to get to with a boat trailer. Also, the house was not well stocked- 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, no soap/body wash/shampoo provided, and the hand soap in the bathroom had obviously been significantly watered down. Overall, had a good stay but prob won’t be back
