It is on located the borders of Bordelais and Périgord, in an exceptional 15-hectare park. This family property dating back to the 18th century has been tastefully renovated. There is a large private pool (6x13 m), secured with automatic roller shutter. Ii is an ideal place for a holiday with family or friends. It offers large spaces (from 15 to 35 sq.m bedrooms), with refined decoration, new bedding. Sheets are provided on a rental basis. A detailed description of the sleeping arrangement can be provided on request. You can enjoy many leisure and cultural activities: Visits to the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, shows and lights, Castillon-la-Bataille 3 km away, the historical sites of Périgord (Sarlat, Castelnau, Domme, Lascaux, Gouffre de Padirac, and much more), gourmet circuits, concerts, animal parks, and leisure centres. Open in May 2015, an 18-hole golf course (Saint-Emilion) is 15 min away on foot from the house. It is 45 km away from the Bordeaux and Bergerac airports. Optionally, we can arrange 12 additional sleeping spaces (7 bedrooms). See conditions with the owner.

Just what we wanted.
Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend.

Excellent stay
We were with a group of 15 university friends from way back and we thoroughly enjoyed Thiery's accommodation. It was so well equipped that each of each could sleep in a separate bed and even so that the heavy snorers had a room to themselves. Thiery's tips on where to find the supermarket, baker, good but reasonably priced restaurants were very useful. And Myriam was an excllent host upon reception. We used the house to plan several day trips in about an hours drive distance. And it was great to relax at the pool, open fire or bbq upon return at the end of the day.

Super séjour!
Brandey est une maison qui a beaucoup de charme, avec un très grand pré et des bois où les enfants ont adoré jouer. Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui nous ont indiqué une petite boulangerie artisanale à proximité, et nous ont autorisés à cueillir les mirabelles et prunes d’ente dans le pré! 😋😋😋 Nous avons aussi bien profité de la piscine. Visites et activités intéressantes aux alentours (St Émilion, spectacle de Castillon, etc. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre semaine à Brandey. Merci!

Cadre historique intéressant, grand parc et belle piscine. Belles pièces et jolis meubles de famille. Lits très confortables. Grande terrasse à l'ombre, vue sur les vignes, la forêt, et les prés. Belle demeure ancienne conviviale et confortable. Nous avons passé un très agréable week end entre amis. Petits et grands ont profité des magnifiques extérieurs : Piscine, jardin, parc. La location a le charme de l'ancien, le terrain est très vaste et comporte un bois, idéal pour que les enfants fassent des explorations. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Par contre, la cuisine/ salle à manger peut être étroite pour les grands groupes. La literie au 1ier étage est à améliorer. le propriétaire vit de l'autre côté du batiment mais il est très discret. Bon site pour découvrir l'est de la Gironde

Beautiful ancient house with a large garden
We had a wonderful week with a group of 24 friends. The communication with the owner Thierry was very easy. We especially enjoyed the big garden and great swimmingpool. Soms parts of the house are a bit old, but since we stayed most of the time outside, this wasnt a big deal. Would definitely recommend to other groups!

La propriété est très accueillante. L'environnement très spacieux. Il y a la possibilité de s'isoler à l'ombre des arbres. Le grand plus c'est la piscine, traitée au sel : c'est très agréable et relaxant.

Belle propriété malgré des points faibles à améliorer
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle propriété car nous étions en groupe familial élargi (20 personnes avec grand-parents et petits-enfants) et le cadre s'y prêtait bien. Les points forts : belle maison, vue agréable et vaste jardin, belle piscine, déco du salon agréable (+un piano), draps impeccables, salles de bains rénovées. Les points faibles : désolée mais ils sont nombreux et je les donne surtout comme objectif d'améliorations pour le propriétaire. Pour commencer, le propriétaire habite sur place ! La maison est coupée en deux et le propriétaire joue sur les mots quand il dit que la maison n'est louée à personne d'autre puisque c'est lui qui y habite (à préciser sur l'annonce !). Lui et sa famille ont beau être très sympathiques, ils sont bruyants (des enfants en bas âges qui crient dès 7h du matin, un lave linge qui tourne la nuit contre la cloison très mal isolée d'une des chambres...). Ensuite, une odeur d'eaux usées devant la maison côté cuisine et malheureusement côté arbres pour l'ombre qui empêche absolument de s'y tenir. Manque d'ombre pour le déjeuner, les petits parasols fournis sont risibles (parasols de plage qui s'envolent au premier coup de vent, tandis que le propriétaire disposait lui d'un grand parasol costaud). Une rampe d'escalier rafistolée avec du grillage et du scotch de déménageur en lambeaux. Certaines salles de bain sans verrous. Aucune chaise longue de type bain de soleil à la piscine, une dizaine de transats classiques en bois. Les chaises de jardins pas nettoyées à notre arrivée et enfin la chapelle, annoncée comme pouvant servir en cas de forte chaleur ou au contraire de mauvais temps, n'était pas praticable à notre arrivée, nous dû la balayer nous-mêmes et la déblayer pour profiter de la table de ping-pong qui s'y trouvait. Dommage car tous cela pourrait être amélioré facilement.

Logement adapté pour une période à passer en "tribu" dans un cadre agréable et tranquille.
Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans le logement, et globalement l’avis de toutes les personnes qui ont eu l’occasion d’y séjourner est positif. La première semaine avec de très fortes chaleurs a permis de mesurer l’agrément de la piscine. D’autre part la dimension des différentes pièces, ainsi que leur équipement a rendu le séjour très agréable. La maison a beaucoup de cachet, et cela a été pour nous une expérience unique. La localisation au milieu du vignoble et à proximité du golf permet réellement un dépaysement pour des citadins.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Brandey, tout était parfait, la propriété est impressionnante, nous sommes tous tombés amoureux de ses belles pierres ainsi que ses beaux volumes . Cet endroit est idéal pour passer de beaux moments en famille très nombreuse ou entre amis dans une atmosphère calme et sereine (peut être La chapelle y est-elle pour quelque chose?) Nous avons été très bien accueillis, nous n’avons pas rencontré les propriétaires directement mais avons pu échanger sans problème par mail. Je recommande!!!!!!
