"This is the second time I have stayed here, great deal. It is less than a minute from the monastery/main plaza of Guadalupe. Rooms are basic but not cramped, and amenities include fluffy towels, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, wall table perfect for laptop typing, hair dryer, soap etc, and both times I have had good views: town and mountains last June, and this time the monastery. I would certainly stay here again in the future."

The seating area outside the apartment would be a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine but when we were there it was too cold! Berzocana is a delightful village with rustic pub and bars, and a helpful village website. We look forward to coming again in better weather. Unfortunately it was chilly but the owner offered us some extra heaters which made a big difference."

"One night stay. We loved this place because of how friendly they were. . It is not expensive, nor should it be. We had a basic room with two beds and a bath. A pleasant view out the window. The room was a second floor walk up but staff kindly helped with luggage. Staff was exceptional. The restaurant downstairs was well attended by locals at breakfast mid day and dinner. They were all very friendly and we really enjoyed the non-touristy family feel The food was exceptional with exceptionally...

"All excellent. Village was very quiet and there did not seem to be a bar or restaurant active in the hotel but there were some in the Plaza Mayor (10 minutes walk). Very steep and hilly access to hotel so some warning may be necessary for those with mobility problems. Overall a great success."
