I had a great stay in Las Tricias, as areas go this is the most picturesque of the island. Very peaceful. People surrounding me in the neighbourhood are wonderful, the sunset and stars in the sky are fantastic. Host is relaxed and helpful. Good facilities to cook and spend evenings. Surrounding towns have good restaurants and histories. Experience is authentic and un-touristy. I recommend the weekend market and the trip up to the Observatories, and in the neighbourhood with the chickens and cats.
