Beautiful and spacious home on a peaceful wooded lot in Lancaster County. There’s something for everyone in this warm and welcoming home of over 4800 sq ft with 4 bedrooms plus another bedroom / office and a basement rec room. This family friendly home is loaded up with upgrades and outstanding features. The first floor boasts a dramatic entry foyer with hardwood floors and an oak tread staircase, custom detailed woodwork throughout. Its hard to describe how truly beautiful this home is.

There is a spacious eat in kitchen which includes granite counters, large dining room and a morning room leading to the backyard patio. First floor living room features a gas fireplace and new La-Z-Boy furniture set. There is also a study / bedroom on the first floor with a twin bed. The kitchen comes equipped with high end appliances, blender and a Keurig coffee maker combo for pods or grounds (coffee pods supplied) for your use in addition to pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. A washer and dryer is provided in the first floor laundry room for your use. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are supplied.

The second floor has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Master bedroom has a King sized bed, sitting area and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and attached bathroom. Third bedroom has a queen sized bed and shares a Jack N Jill bathroom with the fourth bedroom which has a full (double) bed.

The luxurious finished basement has a family room with large TV, wet bar, powder room, pool table, work out room with a treadmill, and a queen sized pullout sofa bed

The awesome backyard features an outdoor living area complete with a fireplace (firewood supplied by host) patio, hot tub, beautiful landscaping and is completely fenced in.

Lancaster getaway
House was incredible, very clean, well maintained, perfect for our large family. Any odds and ends that we thought we might need to get or bring were also in the home. The outside was gorgeous cozy with very large gated yard. House was just perfect for us all around! Just wish we could stay a little longer!

Beautiful home and location. The outdoor "family room, with fireplace," was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The WiFi worked perfectly for the folks who needed to work. Great place for a relaxing family "reunion" and trip to visit Winterthur and Lancaster area. Highly recommend.

The house was very comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for the toddler to move around. We had a rainy weekend, so were not able to enjoy the outside fireplace or patio. There was a lot I liked about the listing, but the two king beds and one queen bed made the decision for me. Again, the upstairs rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Property was beautiful and spacious. Had plenty of room to hang out with friends and family all together. Was stocked with everything you would need. Was even able to get in a couple hours early to drop off our things before heading to race track, which was very helpful. Very accommodating and would definitely recommend for a group get-a-way! Property is beautiful and the surrounding countryside is amazing. We decided to stay outside of the main shopping areas and found that was a great choice. We likely would have missed the pristine farmland that the residents should be very proud of. Locals are kind & welcoming. Highly recommend.

Dream house
This house is everything you could want and more! We enjoyed every aspect of this home. The outdoor area was just what we were hoping for on our girls trip! The inside was even more beautiful than the pictures. It was close enough to drive to where we wanted to go but quiet and peaceful when we arrive back at the house. It was also stocked with all the gadgets we needed, and even provided coffee!! We will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Awesome everything!
My coworkers and I stay in the area every year for a convention. This house had everything we needed plus some! Everything there was spotless and top quality. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever had in a rental! The extras, hot tub, pool table, outdoor fire place, etc.. Made our stay perfect! I couldn't find any faults. Not only the house but everything inside was in excellent condition. This place will be my first choice for our stays in the future!

Wonderful Weekend
We had the best time this weekend at this wonderful home. The house was absolutely beautiful and even more beautiful in person than the pictures. The home was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed preparing our meals in the kitchen and eating in the formal dining room. The outdoor space was equally as beautiful and we enjoyed spending most of our time hanging outside on the patio and in the evening we enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. We would love to come back again.

Best VRBO house
We've rented VRBOs in several states, but this was the best we've stayed in. Everything about this property was better than advertised. The pictures don't do it justice. The host had the house prepared fully for our arrival, even down to the little dishes of mints. The host was responsive to every question I had. And the area has much more activities and sights than I had realized. We will be back.

Beautiful home in bucolic neighborhood
The house is more beautiful in person, so spacious and tastefully decorated. Very clean, quiet and located in the most serene neighborhood with a field of goats (including many babies!) across the street. Perfectly situated near the major attractions of the area while still being far enough away for peace and quiet. The outdoor seating area was lovely with a fireplace and gas grill. John was gracious and helpful, although we didn't need him once we arrived because everything was perfect. We are already daydreaming of returning!

The Best in Comfort and Luxury!
Each Fall all the ladies in our family rent a home in Lancaster. We shop, cook, bake and enjoy the countryside. We have had wonderful rentals, but nothing can compare to this magnificent home. We expected a lovely rental but were blown away as soon as we opened the door! The home was spacious and clean with polished wood floors, comfortable furnishings and gorgeous architectural designs. Outdoors there was a hot tub, a wood burning fireplace and comfortable furniture. Indoors there was a gas fireplace to take the chill out of the cold autumn evenings. When we had questions, the property owner responded right away. We hope to return each year, making this our 'go to' lodging!

We had a fabulous time! It was one of our most relaxing vacations ever. The house and grounds are stunning. There are so many gorgeous details everywhere you look. It was a delight to spend time in such a beautiful & comfortable environment. My husband and I enjoyed the views from so many of the rooms. It truly was a delight! Amazing Experience
Our group of 7 related ladies were so very pleased with our stay. The location is outside of the busy tourist areas but still within a short drive. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. The house was extremely clean, and the high-end neutral décor was so pleasing and relaxing. Bedrooms and baths were large, premium and immaculately clean. We all stood in line to use the luxurious master bath shower. The recliners in the living room were well used during our stay for conversation times and even some napping. The back yard space was everything we could have hoped for. The kitchen with 2 islands was enjoyed and well used during our stay. While the kitchen is fairly well stocked for eating, we did find some items lacking for the amount of cooking we did (collander, more kitchen towels, mixing bowls, more baking sheets, leftover containers). It was appreciated that our host provided a deluxe coffee maker and coffee pods. As seen in another review, we did bring our own blow dryer as one was not provided. All in all, we were extremely impressed with the house and we will be returning next year for our annual girls trip.

Book it, it's perfect!
We traveled to John's place with our (almost) 2 year old son and his grandparents. The first person to arrive immediately texted me and said "this house is perfect! I want to live here!" - which basically sums up the visit. It was perfect for all ages (2 to 80!) and is far better than the photos even can show. We had hardly any babyproofing to do and it was quickly safe for our son to explore. The floor plan on the first floor was great for keeping eyes on him and for keeping everyone in the group included. It was perfectly clean, easy check-in and check-out and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were a great layout for large groups and we were even able to use the closet in the master for our son's pack and play because it was so big. The backyard and basement set up lend to perfect spaces to hang out and relax. We cooked all our meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. There are plenty of televisions, games, and books to provide a variety of entertainment for everyone. The location was quiet and private while also being a short drive (20-30 mins) from most major attractions in the Lancaster area. I looked at several properties across several sites and couldn't be happier I chose this one. We plan to make the trip an annual tradition, in large part to how well the house worked for our group and how much fun we had.

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Country Setting
Wow! This property was amazing. If you’re wanting to visit Lancaster, don’t miss out on this one. Beautiful home, in beautiful country setting. Plenty of room for families. Beds were comfortable, rooms all nicely decorated. House was very warming- we even discussed staying forever! You will not want to go home. Hot tub, game room, outdoor fireplace and sitting area all great outdoor spaces and we used each one. They even supplied throw blankets for our couch potatoes inside. Having access to the 3 car garage was a welcome bonus as it was chilly & rained on arrival day. We just backed in, unloaded, and parked it there. Very convenient. Things that come to mind that would improve this rental, or thoughts for future renters to consider bringing, which was an oversight on my part with all the amenities would be bring a blow dryer, 2-ply toilet paper, and if going outdoors for a fire, bring fire starters. Otherwise it had everything we needed. John and his family were wonderful hosts! Recommend writing down John’s phone number, as cell reception was spotty until connected to Wi-Fi. Thankfully he was just across the road.
