A large weeping willow provides shade on sunny days, so you can sit down and have a barbecue after a day out or on the beach. The Seine-Maritime region is diverse: pure nature on the Alabaster Coast with its chalk cliffs and huge pebble beaches, culture in the artist town of Etretat and Maritimes in the port city of Fécamp, which is also home to the herbal liqueur Bénédictine. There are numerous cycling and hiking maps for you in the holiday home.The Alabaster Coast stretches from the port city of Dieppe in the north to Le Havre at the Seine estuary. Recommended excursion destinations are the town of Fécamp surrounded by high chalk cliffs with its three different ports, the seaside resort of Etretat, made famous by the Impressionist painters, or the picturesque port and art city of Honfleur, beyond the large bridge over the Seine. Hikers can use the well signposted long-distance hiking trail GR 21, which stretches over 100 km along the white alabaster coast. A little further north is the Bay of the Somme, one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
