"The property overall was very nice. However, even if you request and receive a non-smoking room guests are permitted to smoke on your floor. There are ashtrays near the elevator that are used. The smoke smell will certainly leak into your room a bit. We paid for the breakfast through our Expedia booking upfront. However, every morning at the breakfast I was the only one out of our large travel group of 31 (who are mainly of Chinese origin but not living in China) who got hassled every morning...

"The people who work here are nice (but don't speak English) but the property is not up to reasonable western tourist standards. Some rooms reek of smoke (we were next to a 4-bunk bed room with Chinese men chain smoking), there is no sound mitigation to the doors so you hear every elevator chime and loud voice outside the room, the bathrooms are pretty gross, the mattresses are old-school hard where you feel every spring, and I've never seen so many bugs inside a hotel room before. "Because of airplane delay I asked the manager to change my reservation into the next day, he accepted it. This hotel is located at the city center and it is very convenient to have dinner around. Across the street, there is a bus station in which we can go to the south station and wr can get on the express bus. Also breakfast is served."

"My stay in thus hotel was perfect. Super convenient location and most of all staffs are friendly and helpful. Thanks to Ms. Catherine Qian, i could enjoy nice beef noodles and go to Bingling temple without any trouble. If anyone wants to go to Lanzhou, i will recommend this hotel."
