"beautiful serene hotel directly facing the lagoon. We enjoyed very much staying there, the complimentary foot massage and lovely views. the pool looked stunning, even though we did not swim. we would like to see more lagoon activities - ie kayaks and paddle boats for rent from the hotel."

Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast...

"Our stay has been nice. What saddens me is the trash I saw on the beach. It’s not in front of the hotel but all along the beach. People here don’t respect the beauty they have here enough to put their trash and recycle in the right containers and our oceans and beaches suffer from it."

"Lovely settings with views out to sea but a bit remote if you like to be near town. Lots of dogs prowling around coming up off the beach Good outdoor lawn area and pool. Our room was clean but pretty old. Probably needs a refit. Good friendly staff."
