"Seascape - Barefoot Bliss" is a beach lover's dream at the beachfront Seascape Condominiums! Unlike most condos in Galveston, Seascape is located directly on the beach, just west of the Seawall, there is no need to cross the busy street to feel the sand between your toes! This beach-side condo has incredible views of the sunrise over the ocean. Soak up the sights and sounds from your beach-facing balcony or relax by the swimming pool (heated year-round) and hot tubs. Condo sleeps 8 with king beds in the master and 2nd bedroom, bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa. 2 full baths (one with bathtub and one walk in shower). Full kitchen w/stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, dishes & utensils and granite countertops. TVs in each bedroom, tile floors and newly updated decor. Cable and wifi access. Linens and towels provided. Ready to go to the beach? Grab the chairs and beach toys in the unit and don't forget the sunscreen! Complex features include: direct beach access, elevators, large pool heated year-round, kid’s pool, 2 hot tubs, BBQ pits and full-size coin-operated washer/dryers on several of the floors.

Please note that the HOA requires all guests to be counted towards occupancy, regardless of age, and guests must be at least 25 years old to rent this property. The host fee in the quote includes the cleaning fee and HOA nightly surcharge (parking).

It was great. Just on the edge of town so it was quiet. And being right on the beach was perfect! The space worked for us and having 2 bathrooms was great. I had to ask a couple of questions and my emails were responded to quickly. We weren't thrilled we had to wear wristbands for our entire stay. Nobody once stopped us to see them and it seemed very unnecessary. We would stay again.

Great view away from all the traffic!

Everything is as described. This is our second time to stay at Seascape and the property is so nice. The check-in is very easy. I love that the beach and condo is away from all the traffic and noise, but close enough to everything you need. We will use Seascape every time we go to Galveston!

Great place to stay!

The location of this condo is perfect, being at the very end of the seawall and situated so you can access the seawall and beach without crossing the very busy road. The unit looks just like the pictures and was a pleasurable place to relax. Watching the gorgeous sunrise from the balcony was one of my favorite things! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had a question before our trip and the owner responded very quickly. We could not have had a better experience and highly recommend staying here.

Perfect View & Place to Stay

Our family (husband & teenage daughter) came to Galveston for the 4th of July, and this location couldn't have been better! It was very clean (unlike a lot of condos on the beach where I've stayed before), and it had everything you needed. Jessica was available for questions and very responsive & helpful. The view was gorgeous, and it was great to be right on the beach and have private access, and not have to cross the busy street to get to the beach either. The property overall was nice, and it felt safe & secure. I highly recommend this condo (on the 3rd floor - top level of the complex) for the view, cleanliness, easy access & comfort! You will not regret it!

Great for family trips!

This is a great property with amazing beach access and a heated pool/hot tub. My only comment for the unit that we stayed in is that the beds/bedding need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable. The furniture pads on the patio and in the living room are stained and need to be replaced as well. Just needs a little fluffing to make it more homey! The view and the location can’t be beat!

Great location in Galveston

We really enjoyed staying here. The condo is beautifully decorated and is clean and is in a great location being one of the only locations that has direct beach access (vs crossing the busy street because of the sea wall). The pool was great too and we loved having access to beach chairs and beach toys. If you are staying with young kids, I would recommend bringing a sound machines or having access to a sound app because like any condo complex there can be some noise at night but it’s generally quiet. There also are some heavy duty cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink you may want to move to a higher location if traveling with young kids.

Great view, nice decor, kitchen amenities needed, few standard comforts needed.

Nicely decorated condo with great view. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is missing everyday drinking glassware - mostly old plastic cups (1 of 2 glasses badly cracked on bottom and could cut someone). Tiny coffee cups (only 3 that were useable - 1 chipped and unusable). Pans and chopping board are very old and dirty/chipped. Bedrooms/living room need fan/light pulls you can reach. Need mirror in each bedroom (full length would be great). Bathrooms had no bath mats. Couch pillow torn.

Perfect For Our Family

First time to Galveston, and this place was perfect. Our family of 7 (My husband and I, 3 kids and 2 grandparents) had a blast. We would absolutely stay here again. Price was great. The beach is literally right there - no crossing a street. The pools were heated and my boys' favorite part. We loved the fact they had a storage closet on property with chairs, beach toys, etc. that we could borrow for the beach. Grounds were kept immaculate and so pretty. To get to the majority of attractions and top rated eateries, you will have to drive though. The actual unit was great. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. The view was so pretty to watch the waves. The only complaint is there needs to be blackout curtains in the bedroom. The lights from the outside shine in like noon sunshine even with the blinds closed. The unit itself had books and games, which our littlest loved. A vacation library right in her room. TVs were good. The security guard was a bit over the top at the pool - wouldnt let the kids throw a ball in the water, even though there wasn't anyone else in the pool to disturb. I'd rather have that though then a free for all and chaos. So carry on dude. Compared to other VRBO rentals I've stayed at, this one didn't have hardly anything in the kitchen - paper plates or cups. But it was fully stocked with actual flatware and dishes. Not knocking it for this, just something we noticed. We loved it here. It was a great "home base" for our family vacation.

Overall trip went well. Water in one of the bathroom tubs is slow to drain. The property reached expectations but for that premium price, value we get can be little more than what was offered. Renter's should not worry about parking every time we go out to eat, elevator is shaky and noisy. We would feel about 80% of bang for our buck with property so gave it a 4 star. . I would go with it again if no other premium options are available.

This property was dirty when we arrived with sand on the floor and a lot of red hair that we cleaned up and the balcony was dirty, including the pillows, and the dressers were broken. We will say the beds were comfortable, and the view was good. We contacted the manager and she told us the dressers were not to be used and that the place was clean and we were wrong. We requested to leave and she reimbursed our money and we are very unhappy with what happened. I also contacted VRBO at the time and got no response. It is highly unlikely that we will use VRBO again.

Family getaway

My family (me, wife, and college age daughter) and my wife’s parents stayed here for a beach getaway. Owners were great with working with us. My father-in-law has Mobility issues and they worked with us to make sure he could access everything. We had TV issues. Owner fixed it quickly. (Lightning storm had fried some TV boxes). Clean, nice condo! Location is great. Direct beach access and close to town.
