During this time you will encounter active construction and noise, no parking garage access and stairs must be utilized. By accepting the lower rental rate you are agreeing to these terms**

Saltwater Breeze (formerly known as 6 Flip Flops) offers 1400 sq. feet of living space, with easy access to the beach and the Beach Club. This spacious top floor beach front condo is the perfect place to take the family and relax for a beach getaway. Enjoy wonderful ocean views as well as beautiful sunrises from your private shaded balcony.

This condo offers a master bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen and 3rd bedroom features two sets of twins over full bunkbeds - Sleeps 9 comfortably. 3 High-Def LED TV's, WIFI, all rooms tastefully decorated, fully equipped kitchen including built in oven air fryer, everything you need for a great vacation! Ring doorbell is at front porch for security purposes as well as Private Grill on balcony.
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.

RESORT AMENITIES & FEE:
*Please note the restaurant is not open, a new tenant will be secured & details will be announced at that time*

Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment.The optional fee is $25 per person (ages 4 & up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, hot tubs, workout facility, basketball & pickle ball court. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for purchase. Resort sponsored activities are offered seasonally for family fun.

The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to purchase and enjoy the resort amenities. Once paid, you will pick up your amenity wristbands at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. *Please note their fees are non-refundable. For questions about the fee or amenities you may contact the Beach Club at

**It is important to note that we manage the rental of your vacation home. We are not in charge of the community grounds and Beach Club amenities to include the restaurant, pools, beach, or elevators.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
*Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 a.m. *You are welcome before check-in & after check-out to enjoy the beach and resort amenities if you have purchased Beach Club wristbands.
*Rental is equipped with Ring doorbell.
*Please note that all condos are accessible by stairs or elevators. In the event that elevators are placed out of service, stairs will be required. There are no refunds or alternatives for access to your vacation rental.
*Age Requirement is 26+ *No Prom, Graduation or High School groups are permitted even with chaperones, please!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement.

Amazing Stay
Beautifully decorated condo with awesome view and comfortable patio furniture. We cook a lot on vacation and this condo had everything we needed and great cookware. Cute beach themes, comfortable beds, so close to walkover to beach. Good wifi too. We had a wonderful time!

Great stay!
Lovely condo with space for 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Amazing patio and views of the ocean. The beach was also perfect and clean. This condo has everything you needed plus some for an amazing stay! Oh and the master shower was delightful! The only negative was the mosquitoes which could not be prevented with all the rain Galveston had the week prior. Also there was a bit of a musty smell but I do think this is pretty much every condo in the area being so close to the sea. We would stay here again! I’m looking forward to maybe returning in the fall.

Perfect getaway spot
This unit was perfect for our family and friends. Proximity to the beach was excellent, as well the beach wasn’t too crowded. Was peaceful and offered plenty of things to do to relax and pass time; from sitting on the porch drinking coffee, watching the sun rise, relaxing on the beach or poolside… can’t recommend it enough.

Short trip, big fun!
We planned a Sun-Wed stay but had plenty of beach and pool time. We just wanted some relaxing beach and family time. With young adult children its hard to find places that fit us all, but we all had plenty of space to sleep, hangout and relax. The whole family said they would stay here again! We loved having the pools as a choice along with the beach!

Great Lovation!
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean. The elevator was out for the majority of our stay (was not an issue for us but just wanted to warn people to not depend on it). The walk way to the beach was super close to this unit and about a 4 minute walk to the beach club! The main restraunts are a good 20 minute drive in either direction but we typically made sandwiches and breakfast there! Will definitely come back to this unit the next time we come! If you come in from Freeport make sure you have 2$ for the bridge toll.

This place was amazing and the pictures were spot on! Super quiet during our stay which I feel everyone in my party needed. We didn’t need for anything in the kitchen as it was well stocked. The only negative which had nothing to do with the property is the mosquitoes …there were so many that they could carry you away! Lol. But we had our Thermocell which kept them at bay on the balcony so we could enjoy those sunsets everyday!! Definitely would recommend this place as we’ll be back!!

Perfect getaway with family
This condo was just the right size for our family of 6. Kids loved the bunk beds and doing the puzzles. The kitchen was adequately stocked, lots of towels in the bathrooms, the beach towels were perfect for using as blankets on the balcony while enjoying the views. Overall it was the perfect place for us to stay for a quick trip to enjoy Galveston. I only put 3 stars on property manager communication because there was not any information on how to get wrist bands for the pool (it is off season but pool was open). So trying to figure out how to let them know how to improve might take more time.

A Great Spring Break Getaway
My family and I spent 4 nights at this condo during spring break. We had an issue with the door code to access the condo, and when I texted the number they immediately responded and gave me a new code to gain entry. That was hugely appreciated as we had a carful of pool and beach things…plus two excited kids who wanted to change and swim. Overall, the property was exactly as listed and we were very pleased with everything. Since Pointe West is fairly remote, we bring groceries to cook. And this kitchen was actually fully stocked with pots and pans (with matching lids!), cookie sheets, pizza pan, knives, utensils…everything needed to cook. This particular building is close to a boardwalk with access to the beach. The beach was nice and quiet while we were there. The pool and hot tub at the beach club was kinda far for our kids, so we drove over once. We primarily drove over to the bayside heated pool and hot tub. Has we been there longer and intended to spend all our time on property, I would have rented a golf cart. However, we spent a lot of our day driving to Galveston proper for putt putt, a boat tour, pleasure pier, etc. Overall, I recommend this condo to anyone interested in spending some time at Pointe West and I would definitely stay here again.

Our condo was very nice and cutely decorated. What we appreciated the most was the cleanliness, the comfortable beds, the beautiful view, and the huge balcony. We traveled with a 2 year old and the condo did not have a bunch of items we had to worry about him getting at reach level. Also had some games and things he liked to play with. There is an elevator in the building and it was so nice to have. Plus an assigned and covered parking space. Areas of improvement could include a deep clean of the fridge’s ice maker. The door that exits ice has build up that was coming out on ice for us, so we just got it out of the freezer. Would have also appreciated a key for the bedroom doors. As I mentioned, we traveled with a 2 year old who is into locking and unlocked doors right now, definitely had a fear of him locking a door and having to coax him out. On the subject of locking doors, would be nice to have an extra lock on front and back doors that cannot be reached by younger kids. The living room furniture is very beachy, but not very comfortable, not to the point of deterring us from coming again. Overall, our group had a really nice time, enjoyed the view, the short walk to the beach, and the entire place.

Galveston Get Away
Our group of 6 ladies came for a girls reunion! This property was very clean with beautiful views of the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The Pointe West management was very responsive when we asked for an earlier check in. It was a great experience!

Fantastic getaway
We came to Galveston for a long weekend and met our Texas family there. It was spacious enough for all of us and absolutely beautiful. The private beach was amazing. The view was breathtaking and so relaxing. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING
The photos do not do this place justice! The home is beautifully decorated and has a spectacular views of the ocean. The bay view from the Master Suite is so nice! The house is so spacious and had everything you need for entertainment (cookware and spices, games and books, tv, beach toys). The beach club on site was a hit for our kids! We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was great. To top it all off, it was a very short and beautiful walk to the beach. It was not overcrowded and was very clean. The neighbors were so friendly and quiet. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Pointe West, for a great family vacation.
