A perfect beach vacation for couples or families with 1-4 children -- Recently Renovated beach-themed condo a short walk from the beach.

Uniquely located within 2-minute walk to Club House, including pool, spa, restaurant/bar (seasonal), game room, fitness area, and more -- while far enough away from the commotion to enjoy a peaceful, quiet view of fountain pond and ocean waves from private balcony. Other on-resort community amenities lazy river, biking/walking trails, basketball court, and more.

A comfortable king-size master bedroom provides separate balcony access. The 2nd bedroom sleeps up to 4 with 2 bunk beds.

Recent renovations include kitchen and bathroom updates, as well as paint, furnishings, stainless appliances, and smart TVs and WiFi throughout the condo.

Guests are provided with access to ground-floor storage room with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and pull-wagons for getting everything to the beach or grassy play areas.

Things to know --
** Beach Club wristbands will be $25 per guest over 4-years-old for use of Beach Club, Sunset Pools, fitness center and game room. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beach. Wristband fee is charged by POA of Pointe West and is payable at the Beach Club every day during business hours. Pointe West Beach Club allows up to 6 wristbands for this condo.
* Guests must register at Beach Club for parking passes. Condo comes with 1 reserved/covered parking space, and additional unreserved parking spaces are available next to the Condo.
- Golf carts, kayaks, and paddleboards are available for rent from local island vendors.
- Sippin' on Sunshine restaurant/bar at the Beach Club recently opened for normal operating hours.
- Major grocery stores are 20+ minutes away, and major Galveston attractions are 30 minutes away.

- Resort's elevators are sometimes unreliable, but our building elevator was just replaced in Jan 2024. This condo is located on 1st floor above ground floor parking area, but Pointe West may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Always a Winner!
The property is clean, perfectly positioned by the beach and club, everything (including the elevator!) is in working order! We are repeat vacationers of Ocean View and are already planning our next visit. This is a gem at Pointe West!

Wonderful Stay!
I brought my daughter and her 2 friends for a long weekend and wanted a place with amenities and easy access to the beach! This place was an easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Pools and beach club restaurant are great and a nice option when you don’t want to get sandy! We drove about 30 minutes to enjoy the Galveston Pier and had a great time. This place is even nicer than the pictures show and had all the things our stay required! Beds were comfy - I haven’t slept that well in ages - there were smart TVs in every room, and laundry in unit is wonderful! Will definitely come again! Mosquitos were terrible!! (No fault of condo) Bring bug spray!

Great July 4th Stay at Pointe West
We hosted 4 of our grandchildren and enjoyed the amenities of Point West for the holiday. Our only regret is not staying longer! Our host was very responsive to our call when we misplaced the one and only key. Hopefully, for future guests, the keyless entry is working. The property is well maintained, easy to access (elevator), and close to the Beach Club facility. The walk to the beach over the dunes' board walk is long, so bring a wagon!

Pointe west get away
The condo was very clean and the master bedroom bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen was short on items I have found to always be available when staying at other properties at Pointe West. We were attempting to make a charcuterie board and the only serving tray available was a cookie baking sheet. Although, technically the property is beachside, it overlooks the parking area vehicles park on to go the beach so instead of looking at the ocean, you see a parking lot. In fairness there is a pond that is between condo and parking lot. The configuration of the condo does not allow for a breeze so it made it very difficult to sit outside because of the heat. Also, the owner has a storage unit that holds items which we were planning to use to carry our beach things . Unfortunately the lock was not allowing us to open. We did contact the owner and were told it was difficult to open and to pull hard on the lock … we were not successful in opening. Apparently others have had this same issue so in my opinion the owner should repair or not advertise it is available for use. So if you want a clean condo with comfy bed this is an excellent place. If you are looking to have patio time and enjoy looking to the beach, I would not recommend.

Family Vacation
We wanted a quick weekend getaway and this condo was perfect! It was in a great location, with a less than 5 min walk to the beach club and less than 10 to the beach. The condo was well stocked with plenty of toys and gear for the beach. Nicole was quick to communicate with us and checking in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

We’re so happy we found Pointe West. It’s a hidden gem in Galveston and away from all of the hustle and bustle. This condo was just what we needed with very close access to the pool and beach (we easily walked with a 2 year old and 4 year old). The master bed was cozy and we could fit a pack and play in the second bedroom easily while our bigger kid was in the bunk bed. I do wish the pool restaurant / bar would have been open, but the concession stand they had was a nice alternate for pool snacks (and adult beverages). We will definitely stay again!

Home away from home - but better
Planned a weekend getaway at the beach. This is our fourth stay at a Pointe West property, first stay here. Clean, everything we needed at our finger tips. Absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this stay. I'll come back time and time again.

Beach Fun
The condo we stayed in was nice. Access to beach was good. We had a problem with water pressure and one night, no water at all. This was a problem with the city of Galveston. However, the toilet in the smaller bathroom would not flush without adding water manually. Also, the restaurant and bar was closed.

Communication was quick and helpful. Condo looked just like the pictures. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Appliances were full size and very nice. I am used to taking extra toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, trash bags but all of that was there, stocked. The outside closet with beach needs saved us! We realized 2 hours into the trip we left our wagon, thank goodness for the beach supply closet!! I can’t say enough great things.

Beautiful Condo
Our stay at this condo was wonderful! It felt just like home! It was easy to get from the car to the condo thanks to the elevator! The view was awesome! Everything was so clean. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The main bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we neededt to cook. The infinity pool was so beautiful! Lots of places to set and get some sun! The walk to the beach was a little long but once you got on the beach it was so worth it! Over all this place was amazing and will stay at Pointe West again!

We had a great trip to Pointe West. This condo was perfect for our family of four. The condo had everything we needed and was close to the pool and the beach. It was so nice that the unit included access to the storage closet with beach toys, a wagon, and chairs. We would stay here again!

Spring Break Vacation
My family of 5 which includes 3 teenagers stayed April 3-9. The condo was wonderful! It was very clean & fully stocked with all the necessities! The property was beautiful, the pools were close & very clean & the beach was just a short walk away. It is located 25-30 minutes from major grocery stores & most restaurants (which is noted by the owners in the listing) but there are a few restaurants nearby that were wonderful too! The owners were wonderful to communicate with & very quick to reply! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect trip!
This is by far the best condo we've rented at Pointe West and had everything we needed for our family of 7! Super clean, all new appliances, tons of patio seating with a view of the pond and gulf, great location by Beach Club, and easy beach access. We didn't leave the property and the kitchen had everything to prepare all our meals. Not having to bring our own sand toys and chairs saved us space in the car, which was super helpful since we had all our groceries for our stay. We had poor weather so the game cabinets and TVs in every room were nice to keep everyone entertained. The hosts are great with communication and very accommodating. Easy check out instructions. Would definitely book again!

My family and I have been going to Point West for over 10 years now and have stayed in many properties (condos and houses). I’ve actually stayed in this same unit under different ownership years ago. The bathroom and kitchen update were a nice touch. The condo is well equipped and the storage unit had anything you could need for a fun beach day. The only thing missing from the kitchen was a sponge (we got one from my parents unit) and a cleaning spray for the counters/table). My only complaint has nothing to do with the actual property, but with the upstairs neighbors who were moving furniture non-stop and the kids were jumping on and off the bunk beds upstairs at all hours of the night/day. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

Beautiful, clean, comfy condo-perfect for family+dog!
I booked this condo last minute and the owners were excellent at getting back to me quickly with questions. The condo was spotless, spacious and fully equipped. I mean, everything from the storage shed, complete with wagon and umbrella to the dispensers in each shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Though far from restaurants (which they're upfront about in listing), the location was beautiful. In all the stays in Galveston around the area and in East beach, this was the MOST beach I've ever seen. Being in early spring, we had the entire beach to ourselves. The pond was beautiful, the trails and paths and greenery with bags for dogs was perfect, the pools were beautiful and my son loved the basketball court. Only thing not mentioned was that after you pay the $25 fee for each wristband to use onsite amenities, you had to pay to rent items for gameroom and that we were told it was adults only after a certain time. The balcony was way bigger than I ever imagined and we really felt like royalty in this excellent, updated condo, balcony and beach to ourselves. Main pool and clubhouse and basketball court and of course beach all walking distance. Other pool (heated) and lazy river was a short drive up the road and across the street. Would definitely come back. Beautiful property and condo and responsive owners. Not owner's fault at ALL, in all my times in Galveston, this is the first time I've come across Nutria in the ocean and on a property however, swimming in pond/ocean.
