This cute, privately managed (not in a rental pool) condo at Casa del Mar is top floor (yes, it makes a HUGE difference when you don't hear the pitter patter of late night arrivals above your head or when napping) and just the most spectacular gulf views. We think we've got all you'll need to be right at home with the 4 burner electric range, microwave & fridge (nothing compact about THIS fridge), full bath with tub/shower combination that can be accessed either from the hallway or the bedroom, a queen bed with your own TV in that private bedroom, kid-appropriate bunks in the hallway alcove, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. But the balcony - that's where you are going to want to be. Or in one of the two pools, or maybe, just maybe at the beach which is directly across the street and there is a protected crossing at the corner.
This complex charges a fee of as a resort/parking/amenity fee and this is charged by them upon your arrival to the complex. This is not charged by My Galveston Getaway or the condo's owner. When you arrive at the complex, please check in to the office and pay this fee - you will be provided with a parking permit and may be issued wristbands that identify you as registered guests at the complex, along with the WiFi code as the complex has a system-wide WiFi service.
Casa del Mar does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly. While true service animals are an exception – you very well may be asked by the complex to provide the verification. For short term rental/vacation purposes – emotional support animals are not considered true support animals and we are unable to make exceptions to a rule that is in place and enforced by a complex in which we manage condos. Kindly be respectful. All properties managed by My Galveston Getaway are 100% non-smoking/non-vaping properties.
We look forward to hosting you in this privately owned condo that the owners entrust us to manage on their behalf. Each condo at this complex is privately owned - while we manage a few - we don't manage them all.
We generally provide our guests with self check-in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival and then let them enjoy their stay without interruption - however - if you need us we are a phone call or email away - just let us know what we can do for you! While we are happy to answer any questions you may have, because the codes change regularly we will not provide check in information early.
Like every condo complex in Galveston, Casa del Mar Condominium complex does charge a resort/parking/amenity fee – this is something that is paid directly to them when you arrive – we cannot collect or pay this on your behalf.
What's included: Bed linens for all beds, bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels and we do ask that ours not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost.
Starter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are not intended to last your entire group through your entire stay - but to get in, get situated and figure out where you will shop for what on the island.
There are pay per use laundry facilities at the complex – but not a washer/dryer in the condo itself.
