This upper unit of this home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with tons of space to relax and unwind. Take a look at the newly remodeled kitchen and the grand island with its open floor plan. Have a seat in one of the comfortable lounge chairs or bar stools in the kitchen and converse about what a great space you chose to vacation in.

The kitchen is overly stocked with everything you need to make a 3-course meal! From pot roast to Chocolate cake and margaritas or milk shakes, you won’t have want for anything while staying in this treasure of a home.

The primary bedroom is filled with the most beautiful dark cherry furniture that makes the original hardwood floors really pop! There is a Queen-sized cozy bed and plenty of drawer space to allow for a long stay.

There is an ample amount of space in the second bedroom to go along with the king-sized bed and oversized dresser. Take a little time to cuddle up and watch a movie or take an extra-long nap after coming home from the beach!

The third bedroom has two awesome full-size bunk beds perfect for the kids or your super cool teens that need a moment to unwind after their adventures in Galveston. This room includes a Tv and dresser for storage as well as hardwood floors to go along with the Original Galveston Vibes.

Both bathrooms have been remodeled and offer luxurious stand-up showers. The second bathroom holds the washer and dryer and has extra counter space to hold all the necessities for the trip.

Don’t miss out on your chance to sit on the balcony and enjoy the gorgeous Galveston weather while counting the stars.

When its time to go out on the town, you are 4 minutes from the Strand and its many museums, art galleries, shops, and entertainment. UTMB is only a 5 minute commute. The Galveston Harbor district is also close by, which has the best seafood on the Island.
Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn are 15 minutes away. Hidden Treasure is close to everything!

Great visit!

We had a great stay here. We had access to plenty of extra pillows and blankets, and the beds were cozy. There didn't seem to be a lot of neighborhood or road noise, which is always a plus. We look forward to staying here again.

Never ever again

We were a group of seven looking for a stress-free stay before our cruise. At first glance, the property seemed clean, but we quickly realized it was just tidy. We found a large dead cockroach, then saw a live one scurry under the fridge. Further inspection revealed more dead ones. Not being from the island, this freaked us out. I contacted the host, who responded quickly and explained that they spray quarterly, with the last treatment a month ago. He said he'd get back to me shortly with a solution—but we never heard from him that night. A follow-up text also went unanswered. Locals later told us that most rentals spray monthly and that the day just before and after spraying is when roaches are most visible. It became clear that no one had cleaned after the last spray, or they would have removed the dead bugs. We asked them not to spray while we were there and requested a broom to clean up. The host said someone would bring one over—but no one ever came. We slept with the lights on and avoided the kitchen due to food debris between the fridge and counter, which was likely attracting pests. This meant we couldn’t cook, impacting our budget-friendly plans. Roaches may be part of island life, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and pre-arrival cleaning made our stay stressful. In the future, I’ll confirm cleaning and spraying schedules before booking.
