Galveston Casa de las Palmas - Central to Everything Galveston has to Offer

Welcome to our Galveston vacation home. The Casa del Palmas is located in the center of the Island, 1 mile from the beach, 1.5 miles from cruise ports and 2 miles from the Historic Strand.

The upper level features two spacious bedrooms each with king size beds and Tempur-Pedic mattresses and two roll-away twin beds. There are two luxurious bathrooms that include a Jacuzzi tub, pedestal tub, and walk-in rainfall shower. The kitchen is designed for cooking with a large gas stove, dual ovens and plenty of space.

The lower level provides a second living space with a complete kitchen and family room. The lower-level sleeping accommodations include 1 queen, 2 fulls and 1 twin bed (the latter three located in two spaces open to the hallway; separated by a half wall. Please see photos for images of this setup). Please note: The lower-level ceiling height is 6' 4" with a few beams that are 5' 9".

The home accommodates up to 13 people in total. The full-size kitchen and large dining table provides space for the whole family. We hope you enjoy your time in Galveston!

Great place!
I loved the house! The neighborhood was questionable but we felt safe. I loved the set up of the house, just a few maintenance issues but owner will fix before next person stays. Will most definitely rent again!

Great house, would definitely rent again. Acommodated everyone comfortably. Love the shower in the master bedroom. The inside stairs to bottom floor is kinda dangerous. Didn't care for the single driveway. But definitely a great house and great management.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. We called the owner when we had some issues and they did send someone out. (Door wouldn’t lock from outside and electrical)The stairs are very steep and not suggested for older adults.

Good stay as expected from the listing and the price. Would only note that several of the bedrooms do not have doors on them, so be prepared to share your space. An older house with all the charms that come with it.

We enjoyed our stay but was a little short on towels,wash cloths, and dish towels. The garbage cans were full so we had no place to put our garbage but you advised us on what to do. We had a plumbing issue but you solved it promptly.We did not care for the location. It was a very busy street adjacent to another very busy street. It was a pleasant stay overall..

Great place for a big family.
My family and I enjoyed staying in this house. There was plenty of room all 10 of us. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the arcade games provided. The downstairs provided easy access for my mother in-law. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was very clean and the showers were awesome. Would gladly recommend and will definitely look to stay again.

The hosts were incredible & very responsive, the home was soo big with ample room for our family. The home is a little older so it needs a little love. It was a cold & rainy weekend so we did not get to use any of the 3 porches or backyard.

We had a great time! My kids loved the video arcades that’s a great way of keeping them entertained. We enjoyed the house just wish it had oven mittens for the trays when using the oven. Lawn services woke us up early in the morning wish they would of given us a notice our kids got scared they just entered the property with no knowledge of them being there… Beach is near by and close to other stores!! I would definitely book again in the future!

There were several problems with unclean, faulty furniture causing harm, bugs. House has potential but a lot of work to be done. Owners cooperative and very professional responses. I wish them luck with repairs etc.

Perfect for grandma in a walker
Very nice property, had some minor issues with lights not working and other little things. Nothing major. Very convenient with the second floor entrances and secondary kitchen. That came in handy so much because my gma can’t traverse stairs well so having the two kitchens meant she could stay downstairs and we could still do family dinners without worrying for her safety. And the Galaga machine was perfect for my mom who is obsessed with games

Property clean, spacious and comfy beds home was not exactly as shown on listing sofa/loveseat in living as well back porch seating was dirty Grill was not useable in my standards House was aged with kitchen/bath upgrades. There was an odor in house air conditioner wasn’t working but owner responded quickly and had it fixed. Neighborhood was sketchy location was not as described. Sorry to say we would not rent again. Galveston summer trip
We Loved this Beautiful house with very comfortable beds & plenty of bathrooms for Everyone! Perfect for after going to the beach all day then coming back to get ready to go out for dinner! So much room to bring everyone comfortably. We had nine in our group. AC worked great for the humidity of Galveston, nice & cold in the whole house! The rolled ice cream walking distance, 1 block, was Amazing at Coldray! We had such a great time here that we ended up extending our stay 2 more nights, total of 9 days! The owner made that SUPER easy & let us check in early. Victoria was so easy to get ahold of for anything. Nice high wood fenced back yard. We would definitely stay here again! The house was a little bit old and set up a little wierd. Only because you had to go thru the whole bottom floor to get to the indoor stairs which were very narrow. We brought a couple of tvs for the kids only 2 tvs in the house, upper & lower living rooms. There was a couple of homeless people that would hang out on corner of bricks in front by street from time to time. But they were fine never bothered any of us! Overall a GREAT experience Beautiful house, city, Great restaurants & Great beaches, only about a mile or two to the beach & Pleasure Pier! Can't wait to go back!!!
