Bright and clean with a fantastic view!
The unit is nicely appointed, and had everything we needed to enjoy our visit including an amazing view! The pools, gym, and game room were clean and very well equipped. Restaurants, groceries, and lots of things to do are not far away.

Great place!
We had a great time here. The only reason for 4 stars was that the main pool was closed due to hurricane damage. Not a huge deal, since the lazy river and indoor pool were still working, but we were not given a heads-up and this was one of the big reasons we booked this resort. Otherwise, it was great!

Beautiful Condo & Property!
I researched several reviews of condos within the Diamond Beach complex and am so glad we booked this one. Listing & pictures were exactly as expected and suited our family of 5 well. The pools, lazy river & beach were a hit and indoor pool was warm when the weather was cooler. Thanks for allowing our family to make memories for spring break!

Great place to relax and enjoy!
The condo was perfect for our recent stay in Galveston. Super comfy furniture and beds. When a minor issue came up, Vacasa was quick to respond to make things right. As we are from Houston, will definitely be renting this condo again in the future.

Much needed RR
Our family lost our monarch in early October then our youngest son had to have a hip replacement so we truly needed some RR and found it here. There are so many things to do on the property coupled with just watching and hearing the ocean. Our stay was a 10.

Wonderful Family Time!
Our family of 17 stayed at Diamond Beach Resort (in multiple condos) over Thanksgiving week. The resort was wonderful and everyone was so helpful. We enjoyed the hot tubs, private theater, game room, gym, etc. The condo itself was well stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. We’re already talking about coming back next year! Thanks for allowing us to use your beautiful place!

Amazing condo!
From the moment we walked in, we were on vacation and pleased with the condo! Very secure and safe. Condo was nicely furnished and had everything you need including w/d. View was great! Beautiful facility
It was a beautiful facility with lots of very wonderful pools that were all closed because of the hurricane possible roof tile damage. The Lazy River was open, but there were several lights that did not work under water and when we went at night, it was dark in some places. The indoor pool was very nice. The rooms were beautiful. The big drawback was the access to the beach was too difficult to get to if you have any trouble walking like my mom where we rented a beach wheelchair. There was a 3 1/2 foot dirt drop off to get to the beach and we could not take her. They should build a ramp.

Beautiful condo
The condo is beautiful. Perfect view. It was warm in the condo and Vacasa provided an extra fan. The condo had nice amenities. There was not a swim up bar and the slide we never saw and was not in use, per other guest. The gameroom was cool as well as the relaxing lazy river. The hot tub was perfect temperature. My husband did fall down a few stairs during our stay and the front desk person seem to careless. Other then that the condo was nice. By the way the outdoor gate to the public is not locked and anyone can walk in.

Beachfront Beauty!
We stayed at this property during our winter break. We caught a great stretch of weather so we were able to enjoy the beach and some of us the ocean. The condo is as described, owners are very responsive. The kids enjoyed the free game room, the adults as well. Golden Tee was a hit ( not shown in pictures). We reserved the movie room one night which was fun and went in the indoor pool & hot tub every day. There is a strip mall across the street with a great restaurant (Seafood Grille) , bar and a coffee shop. Condo was very clean, lots of kitchen supplies and enough TP and paper towels for the 3 night stay. It could have easily housed another family with a huge bunk bed in one room. Would highly recommend, great stay!

Nice but not as described
This condo was represented well by the pictures. It was very nice and mattresses were super comfortable. Unfortunately, most of the kitchen blenders, food processors, etc. did not work. Not a problem if you weren’t planning to cook. The oven worked OK just ran hot. Stove top worked fine. The description says they provide towels but they only provide bath towels and not enough for the total number of people staying. Bring your own beach towels! Bring your own pool towels!

Disappointed Expectations
Sofa, Dining Chairs, Living Room Pillows and Outdoor Cushions were very stained and needed a deep cleaning or replaced. Mattresses in Bedroom 3 with the bunk bed had plastic protectors on them that made a very loud sound every time you moved making it hard to stay asleep. 2nd Bath sink had no drain stopper which made it very nerve racking to rinse contacts. Trash can bin lid in kitchen wouldn’t close. I have stayed at other units in this resort and found them cleaner.

Good but not great
The balcony door would not open at all the first night. When we brought it up to staff on site they informed us to call Vacasa. The front staff was very nice and John even came up and tried to get the door open with my husband and could not. When I called Vacasa they said they would send someone out that night.. it turned into the following evening of still no balcony access. The guy finally was able to get it open but said it was very tough and had been there before and still it hadn't been replaced with owners. If it wasn't for my husband there I would not be able to open the door. The diamond beach staff John was very helpful. Everyone at Vacasa always had excuses or said someone would help and they have not. I've reached out multiple times to try to get a partial refund since we were not able to enjoy the balcony that we paid dearly for and still they have yet to respond with an answer. The condo itself was nice besides the problem of the balcony, great view! The owners have it furnished nicely. We did have a leak and j the second bathroom coming from ceiling and was told to just put a bucket under for the condensation. Overall, we enjoyed but really missed out on the balcony and wish we could get some answers.
