Relax with a stress-free vacation at this gorgeous home! The bright and open living, dining, and kitchen areas make it easy to entertain your guests throughout. Enjoy the beach view of Galveston's Seawall from the open windows and a shared patio, where you can enjoy the cool summer breeze. Sleep comfortably in the inviting bedrooms separate from the living area of this vacation rental. The wraparound balcony provides breathtaking city and partial beach views. But this is not all! You're welcome to bring your dog with you!

This house is located in the east end of Galveston, just one street off the seawall. Bound to the entertainment, shopping, and dining of Galveston you will not miss a beat during your stay. Located in a quiet area, but still close to all you are only a short walk to the infamous Pleasure Pier.

Great choice near beach and Hotel Galvez
Pros - two blocks from beach, one block from Hotel Galvez. Clean, nice apartment within a larger house. Porch with view of beach. Good communications with rental compact. Great couches in living room. Cons - master bedroom has two single mattress beds pushed together instead of a single king mattress. Lack of small things I see as part of a nice rental; no coffee, olive oil, salt & pepper. Did not have a can opener or cork screw to open a bottle of wine. Adding these would be easy and appreciated.

Hello. The stay and the apartment was nice. There are a few things that need your attention. The apartment has a strong musty odor that lingered the entire stay. The toilet in the master bathroom does not refill with water after each flush. We had to remove the cover and raise the black plunger to get the toilet to refill so it could be flushed. Also, the lamp in the living room does not work. There is a window in the living room that has cracked glass. It would have been nice to have a couple of additional blankets and the sheets on the king bed did not fit properly and came off the mattress during sleep. This seems unsanitary. Need better fitting sheets. The he apartment was clean. Would be nice to have been equipped with a Keurig coffee maker. We loved the close proximity to the beach, Murdochs, Millers, Pleasure Pier and Fish Tails. Thank you!

Loved this property! Super quiet and walking distance from the beach. Had zero problems with neighbors also. It was dog friendly which I was worried about it smelling like dog but it didn’t! It did have like a wet mildewy smell but nothing crazy! I will definitely book here again if I come back.

Perfect Location
Very, very happy with the accommodations. Clean, everything worked, larger than expected, decorated and remodeled nicely. We were there for Mardi Gras and when we drove in and got to our place, we were greeted by floats, bands, etc. that were staging for one of the larger parades that was about to begin 2 blocks away. We were able to walk to the parade route where we got a great spot, caught lots of beads, met so many great people and had soo much fun. Then we were able to walk back to our place, walk across the street for food and drinks at the Galvez, then off to the Strand. Oh, and the beach is only 2 blocks away. Great place, great weekend. Thanks!

The apartment was very clean with attractive furnishings. The kitchen was too sparsely equipped and there were no filters for the very small coffee pot. One would have to anticipate every kitchen need and take it to the property to function in any way possible. I did not enjoy staying at the multiple units property because a dog next to me barked most of the night. I enjoy pet friendly properties but I will not book a multi unit pet friendly property in the future.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It was great being just one block off of the seawall but not in the middle of a busy street!! Could use a few more utensils in the kitchen-- Chef's knife, cutting board--but we made due. Thanks for a nice clean place to stay!

A fine weekend trip
The property is on the second floor. If you go by, the front door is a slightly vertical stairway to the front apartment door. We ended up using the back door, which is easier to walk up and down from. Pros: The property's location is good, a short five-minute walk to the beach and close to the boardwalk. Check-in and getting settled were easy. And behind the property is a public parking garage if you do not want to use the street parking/ street parking pass. [The street parking pass was easily found within the rental] The A/C worked perfectly during the time we stayed there. There are some pans and a few other dishwares provided. [The toaster was the only one that seemed a bit old since you had to hold down the button for it to toast.] Cons: My only gripe with the property is the interior (which is mild). There are visible patches of wall filler in the small bathroom and the hallway. The plaster has not been sanded down and is off-color (so very noticeable). In the living room/ kitchen, one of the ceiling lights looks to have mold or some water damage around it. The beds are alright, but the two twin beds are hard, so you should bring an extra foam mat or two. As for the master bed, it's soft. At night you can hear the chatter of people and cars playing loud music from outside, so bring earplugs or headphones if this would bother you at night. Overall, my family had a good stay at the property.

Close to beach and restaurants. Only thing if you have 4 ppl in the place theres not enough silverware for everyone. Asked for more, but never received it. 2nd floor is up a lot of steep stairs, but wasnt horrble. Pretty good for the price! Will stay again.

Expired parking passes= $60 in parking tickets
Be aware. This is our 2nd year staying at this property and both times the parking passes were expired and are required because there is no parking on the property, you must park in the street. The expired passes resulted in $120 in parking tickets for our stay in 2021. We were finally able to get reimbursed for paying those after several calls and complaints. Our stay in 2022 result kn $60 in parking tickets which have not been reimbursed for even this we have made several phone calls and correspondence. I’ll now be disputing payment of the charges for our stay until Vacasa decides to make reimbursing me a priority. Check the parking passes, take pictures of where you are parked and get your documentation ready to protect yourself when the same thing happens to you!

Do not believe this ad. This rental was a nightmare. There is no communication among the staff. The lights in the bedroom do not work. The toliets were not clean, The parking was horrible. They tell you that you will have parking for 2 cars but that is a lie. I got there and someone had taken the parking spots and I had nowhere to park, The staff in Galveston told me to park on the side of the house. I was unsure and I asked the staff if I get a ticket what would happen? She informed me that they would cover the tocket. Instead of a phone call. I got a message at 11 pm stating that they would not pay for the ticket because it had because it was given for handicapped parking. The ticket is $500.00/ That's where I was told to park. They do not have reserved parking so when I got back home on Saturday night, my kids and I had to stay in my car and park in an unauthorized area until people moved the parking spot that I was told to park. This company does not honor their word. I have to drive 4 hours back down there to dispute the ticket. I am so disappointed. I will be contacting the corporate office because this is just sad. The ad makes the house look like it's in a quiet area. The area is loud and full of heavy traffic. People walk down the street all night long playing loud music. The area that the house is in had trash all around the building and looked unsafe from your first view. The house and the area do not look this nice. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE..

Cute and comfortable apartment with a nice view of the bay, and located right on the trolly line which will take you along the seawall or to the Strand district if you wish. Walking distance to the beach and to some attractions.

This was a nice property. We had a couple of issues during our stay but they were quick to respond and get them resolved, except the last one. There aren’t many cooking utensils or pots and pans in the kitchen so if you plan to stay there and cook much bring your own. The kitchen is pretty poorly stocked. We had to go buy a frying pan because there wasn’t one to cook anything bigger than 1 fried egg in. We were told if we left the $25 pan we bought there when we left and sent them a copy of the receipt they would reimburse us. We still haven’t been reimbursed for the on as we were told. Other than that our stay was great. And we have already booked this house for our stay next year.

The home was very misleading. Definitely not a town home experience and more like an apartment complex. The location is easy to walk to the beach so that was nice and you can tell the owners tried to remodel the inside. We left a baking pan but had very little to cook with. The porch is awful and shared by other units. Everyone smokes outside the door so the unit smells like smoke. At night, extremely loud and someone was ringing the doorbell at midnight waking everyone up. Would not stay here again

The place is great and location was wonderful. We were a little disappointed that we had no WiFi and an inquiry about it was unanswered. Also disappointed there were no wine glasses or wine opener; so we bought a wine opener and used the plastic martini glasses.

My wife and I spent 7 nights at this nice property. It was well equipped and clean. We had our hairy kid with us and she enjoyed it as well. There was no pet smells even though most people probably bring theirs with them since this is a pet friendly property. We will consider staying here again and the house is only one block off of the Seawall.

Great location!
It's a spacious place in a great location! My only complaint is that the place could have been cleaner. Nothing major, we had clean towels and bed sheets, but the walls had finger prints all around the house, hair and dust mites in corners and something on the deck that looked like vomit. I would stay here again, but would recommend the owner to have his/her cleaning crew step it up a bit.
