"Overall we enjoyed our trip and this was supported by good accommodation at the villa. The villa manager was very accessible which made things easier for us, we arrived later in the evening and had to pay a late check in fee which I believe should not be compulsory. I had to deal with a few issues regarding our second payment for the villa which should have been taken on the same card as used for the deposit 3 0 days prior to arriving. "Vila Balaia is an oasis of tranquility. We were 2 families that spent 6/4 nights there in March, and the experience was outstanding. Claudia was very friendly and accommodating with our early check-in, she bought us some bread, milk and oranges as a welcome gift, which was very appreciated. "We had a fantastic time at this excellent property. The property has a large outdoor pool, and is massive inside, with lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas. The teenagers in our group particularly liked having the downstairs area to themselves. The property was c15 minutes from Vilamoura marina and approx 20 mins from the beach. We were left a welcome package which was very helpful, but you do definitely need to go to a big supermarket as the two mini-markets did not stock very much especially fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, we would also say that the villa did not have enough towels and they also need to be renewed."

"The villa has a wonderful view of the valley, a fully equipped kitchen and outstanding pool in a peaceful rural location. Tina and Barry went to great lengths to make our stay as comfortable as possible and were always available and closeby. We found it took 30-45 minutes to the beach and be prepared for a steep, gravel driveway."
