Nestled between Big Sky Ski Resort & Bridger Bowl In The Heart of the Rockies

Rent a house in the Heart of the Rocky Mountains. This Cozy Gallatin Gateway House is centrally located between The Big Sky Ski Resort and Bridger Bowl Ski Resort. (45 min drive either way). Take a short easy 15 minute drive to Beautiful Bozeman.
The Historic and Legendary Steak House and Cowboy bar, "The Old Faithful Inn" , aka-"Stacy's" is less than a block away. Thursday nights they often have live music., as well as Friday night and Saturday night. The Post Office Pizza Joint is across the street from Stacy's. THe Jump is up the HWY less than a mile and offers, food, libations and music.
There are three other restaurant/bars within 5 to 10 min. I can supply more info later if you wish.
The house has two upstairs bedrooms which have very comfortable queen beds with down comforters. The bedroom to the west, features french doors that open to the deck, which leads to the hot tub. Washer and dryer are in the basement.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly want.
The art deco bathroom is small yet a pleasure to tub or shower in.

The house is cozy, warm & comfortable, with large couch for lounging and watching a large screen TV, (Netflix, &, WiFi)
Large dining table, sitting room, Bar. And of course the hot tub.

I love to share this property but this property is not a party venue!!

This home was perfect for our 2 night stay! We moved in our sophomore daughter to MSU and this was away from all the hustle and bustle and very relaxing!

Fantastic spot
We loved our stay at this location. It was centrally located making trips to Bozeman or Big Sky not super long. The place is actually bigger than it looks in pictures and the outdoor space was great.

The property was a great location about 15-20 minute drive to Bozeman and It was about a 40-minute drive to Big Sky. The open house feel was relaxing and the outdoor patio area was a nice place to relax. It was a little warm in the evenings with no A/C so important to use the extra fan. The decor and atmosphere were enjoyable.

Hot tub was wonderful. Couch was comfy. Quiet area twenty minutes from MSU. Our bedroom did not have a door which felt a little awkward. We enjoyed dinner at The Jump restaurant nearby.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The host made it easy and enjoyable. The home is very quaint, unique, and made it very easy to get to the town of Bozeman, a wedding venue, and even spend a day at Yellowstone. We recommend this VRBO.

Great location/price. Resort coats keep going up. 45 min drive up the mountain. Hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. Nice bar/restaurant a block a way. Would definitely stay here again

Easy <2 minute walk to a nearby pizza parlor and bar/steakhouse, with a convenience store just up the street. House was clean and Gwen was attentive to any messages we sent. You can tell she put a lot of effort into making the home fun and inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

Unexpected Treat
Neat place with cool kooky decor, like a McMenamin's. Even though we stayed busy outdoors, we enjoyed just hanging out. Everything worked. Comfy beds. The bathrobes for the hot tub were a nice touch. Check out chores were easy. We'd stay again.

This house was amazing. It had everything we needed and was so cozy. Such a beautiful back yard. Just a heads up that one of the bedrooms appears to not have a door on it and the bathroom and second bedrooms do not have functioning door handles and therefore do not close all the way.

Breath taking Oasis
This place is amazing! As soon as you walk in the door, you are immediately stunned by the incredible collection of antiques and art work. Gwen has set this property up to be the perfect oasis after a long day hiking mountains and living Big Sky adventures. There is a peace about every room, and every day I saw something new and interesting in the house. The location is absolutely perfect for all the great local hikes, as well as bouncing over to Bozeman or sliding down to Big Sky. My family fell in love, we are DEFINITELY booking this place again and again. I can't say enough good things. Beautiful, peaceful, and incredible!

Quirky little bungalow
We were there for the total archery challenge at Big Sky, so we weren’t there during the days but it was nice and quiet when we returned and it was lovely to sit in the hot tub after hiking several miles. It is an older house so it has squeaky floors and sticky doors, but it is so charming and the decor has you wandering around like a museum. One thing to note, one of the upstairs bedrooms doesn’t have a door, and it also has a window facing into the living area so maybe consider this if you are big on privacy. We enjoyed a clean, comfy stay and the host was responsive to any questions we had. Really great place to eat just a short walk away and a 20 minute drive to the airport, and 40 minute incredible drive to big sky along the Gallatin river.

Unique Property - Highly recommended
This was my first experience with a VRBO property and I was somewhat anxious about the stay. After booking I did e-mail Gwen several questions about the stay and each time she answered promptly and was a tremendous help. Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the property and after a long day of driving the hot tub was wonderful. The house is unique and even after three days I was still finding new things around the house of interest. There was plenty of bedding and towels and the kitchen was more than adequately stocked. We did utilize the hot tub and deck every evening and had family over for a BBQ and played lawn game. The house gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy our down time much more than any hotel. Though it was about 15 miles away from Bozeman, this was never an issue for us as we were going between locations of Bozeman and Big Sky. This property seems to have all you would need and more and I would very highly recommend a stay here if in the area.

Met our host Gwen when we arrived because she happened to be outside. She lives next door part of the year. Very welcoming and quick to respond if we needed her, but never infringed on our privacy. Loved the eclectic decor with something new to see in every room and on every wall. The house had everything we needed and very comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay.
