Great place
This is a beautiful home! Great place to stay. We do wish it had a bigger coffee pot and maybe better pillows. That was the only down side of the beautiful home.

Beautiful Mountain Home!
This home provided the perfect launching pad for a vacation to Big Sky. The property offers plenty of common space for groups to enjoy together with all of the comforts of home. Every bedroom has its own en suite bathroom which was a great asset for a large group. The Kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for light or heavy cooking and you cannot beat the views! A few things to note: - the outdoor deck was under construction and unusable, with building materials everywhere in the backyard. We felt we should have been notified of this ahead of our stay, as we had planned to spend our evenings out on the deck. - the entry door to the home does not lock - Big Sky is very safe, but that did give us pause - the oven was broken. We reached out to Vacasa for assistance but there was not much help offered outside of attempting to send someone to the home at 10pm. All in all, I would absolutely recommend staying at this property and would stay again!

GREAT PROPERTY - VACASA IS HORRIBLE
The house and the property were very nice. It was clean, beds and bedding very comfortable, beautiful well stocked kitchen. Great views and lots of wildlife on and around the property. The challenge was no instruction manuals on appliances, fireplace etc. We simply had to spend time and figure things out. The property manager was helpful...tried hard to make things right but again, we didn't even know how to contact him until he showed up one day, two weeks into our stay. However, there was two full garbage cans left by the previous guests with absolutely no instructions on how to schedule the pickup. Secondly, the icemaker did not work (had to buy ice trays) and was never fixed in the 30 days we were there. I had tried to schedule an earlier arrival, but VACASA was impossible to get on the phone...spent hours of wasted time. I finally had to call VRBO (the guy was in Egypt) but very helpful. They could not get VACASA on the phone either. Got conflicting emails from VACASA who quoted me various prices etc. Bottom line, I will never rent a property again if VACASA is attached to the deal. If you can leave VACASA out...it's a great rental. I would consider rebooking for a month next summer but only if there is no VACASA in the deal.

Beautiful Views, Concerning Property Condition
The pros: - Truly stunning views, the sunrise and sunset should not be missed. - Secluded location and you really feel you are on your own private mountain. - Wildlife on the property, every morning and evening we saw a large group of deer on the property. Once we even saw several elk. The cons: - A very strong odor of sewage made it difficult to want to stay inside the property. - The rear exterior deck which we were looking forward to sitting on and enjoying the view had been completely torn out. This area was also not secured, so could be a safety concern. None of the decks had any furniture where you could sit and enjoy the view, which was a very big disappointment. - We experienced the same issues upon arrival that others have also reported. The instructions were unclear. After calling support we were finally able to locate the lockbox and obtain the correct code to retrieve the key. Then we discovered the house was already unlocked and unsecured, which was a bit unsettling when entering such a remote property. - The singular TV on the property was impossible to operate without any instructions. Multiple remotes and could not select the correct input. TV was not the most important amenity to us, but it would have been nice after dark when there was not any other activity. - Too many labels throughout the house. Do not open, no guest access, alarm will sound. It is very apparent you are staying in someone else’s home and a bit unwelcoming. Find a better way to secure personal property without making it feel so restrictive while using the home. Some of our experiences, especially regarding the odor and the deck, may have been unique to our trip. There may be issues they are actively trying to remediate, but the professional and courteous thing to do would have been to notify us of these issues in advance. We would have been more understanding in that situation.

Beautiful But Very Remote Home With Some Quirky Issues
This is a beautiful property with amazing views but we did not enjoy the stay as much as anticipated. We were provided a gate code but no code for the lock box. It was pitch black outside when we arrived but we walked around to the door on the side of the house as we were directed in the instructions and found the door to be unlocked. So starting off the house was not secure. Being so remote it felt a little erie but it was very late and we were exhusted from driving all day from Jackson. We did contact CS for the code but what they provided did not work and we were unable to lock the house during the day. Once inside, the house was beautiful and furnished nicely. We unloaded and made our way around to the rooms where we found the upstairs master and were disturbed by the choice of art selected for this area. Several Demonic and graphic scenes depicting satanic murder should NOT be acceptable for a family vaction rental. This was the room my older childeren were to stay in and this was just not acceptable. Why anyone would hang art like this in a family vaction rental home is beyond me and should be disclosed in detail or removed for your guests and their children's comfort. There were MANY areas and rooms that were marked "not for guests" and some doors had chained locks. This house was way to personal for a rental property. There were too many personal belongings in the home for us to feel comfortable. In addition, it should be disclosed in the Ad that the property has NO air conditioning. It was very difficult to sleep with the temps at 80 degrees or more in the evenings with doors and windows open. One person in our party particularly struggled due to health issues. Every evening we had to remove at least 5-7 milipedes on the floor in the master. They tend to come out at night and it was very difficult to sleep knowing there were so many in that room! We also found a dying mouse in the kitchen on our last morning in front of the refrigerator. All in all this could be an amazing vacation rental but with the issues listed above it made it very difficult to feel comfortable and enjoy our stay.

Spectacular house with a view
This gem is located in a private community next to Big Sky. The house is stunning and was a great spot for our family vacation. Everyone had enough space to relax. The house is very clean. Our young kids were able to play plenty of games at the house. Only downside is the 15 minute drive down the mountain to get to the highway...but that's the price of a mountain view and quiet. Would defintely recommend this house if looking for a mountain retreat.
