Nice cabin in the woods.
A great location..off the main highway enough to be hidden and fairly quiet but with access to the outside world. It had a lovely view of the mountains and is only steps from the Gallatin River. Spacious and warm with modern amenities.

Quiet fishing cabin
If you are looking for a quiet spot to sit on the river and enjoy nature this is your spot. Nestled off the Gallatin River between Big Sky and West Yellowstone. A fire pit on the river for evening time, enjoyed some fly fishing, checked out local places to eat and seeing the park. This was our 2nd year to stay here and we covered lots of site seeing!

Hidden Cabin
What a great stay! We only passed through for 2 nights but wished we had stayed longer. The house was nestled back across the Gallatin River over the bridge, and tucked down the road a bit. Everything was clean, and comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Good house with couple of issues
Overall the house was very nice and clean. Great location with outdoor fire pit next to a beautiful river. The only two areas of concern were that the shower backed up with several inches of water every time someone showered which is not ideal when there is only one bathroom and several guest. Another item that was frustrating is that the outdoor gas grill does not work at all and when cooking in for several people it is really nice if you have a functioning grill.

September Stay
Was a great location. Easy drive to West Yellowstone and only nine minutes from Big Sky for other activities. Beautiful quiet spot on the Gallatin River and across with a quaint bridge. Go to bed and wake up to the sound of the river as it flows over rocks. Nice little wood burner for the chilly nights of September.

Rustic Getaway
This cute home tucked away on the side of the Gallatin River was very relaxing. The home was quiet, had beautiful views, a fire pit on the river and nice neighbors….. close to West Yellowstone. Our family of 4 enjoyed the fishing on the river to site seeing in the area….. Highly recommend!

This is a great cabin with everything you need right and more right by a gorgeous river. The only downfall is it could have been cleaner. The bunk bed did not appear to have clean sheets.

Montana Gateway
Our stay here was nice. The cabin matches the description well. Having a four wheel drive car is pretty much a must to get to cabin but need to watch sizing of car to get across bridge. My husband and I experienced this cabin with 8 inches of snow. The area the cabin is in, is beautiful!! If you are staying in the colder months, you will want to prepare & bring wood for wood fire stove since no central heat. Overall Cabin us great. Bonus location being near so many hiking opportunities, Big Sky, and West Yellowstone. Only dislike was the company it rents through. They do not use VRBO messaging & do not have messaging on their website. You can only call them. Not easy to get ahold of them at all.

Great location for Yellowstone
This cabin was great for our family traveling to Yellowstone and Lewis & Clark Caverns. It was not great for personal water adventures. Unless you pay a guided service, don't plan on rafting or kayaking. Cleanliness was an issue. For the amount charged for a cleaning fee, I expected a throughly cleaned house. Bottom of tub was dirty, oven mitts were caked with food, cob webs in doorways, pods stuck in clothes washer soap drawer, lots of dead bugs in window seals. There was no good cleaner to wash to tub and the vacuum was so full we couldn't vacuum. There is no pull out sofa bed, just the grey blob thing pictured in the upstairs loft. This place is very beautiful and peaceful. Our family enjoyed the time we spent there. I would recommed to people who will be out exploring, people who like to fly fish or just sit by the river. Not for families that have kids that want to play in the water.

Girls' Trip September 2023
The cabin itself was wonderful. The directions for getting there were too vague. We arrived after dark, which wasn't our intent, but we took the wrong path after finally finding the bridge to cross. We had to back down a steep area at night and guess at which way we should try next. The path had one reflector and no other visible markings to tell us where we were and there were no lights whatsoever. It was a nightmare! Would highly recommend making these changes so that others can find their way easier than we did. The microwave's front glass facing had to be pushed up into place every time it was used or the door wouldn't shut. The lockbox fir the key didn't work so we were unable to get the key out. No accurate directions for doing so and there were two lockboxes. We couldn't find the garbage can we were supposed to deposit our garbage in. The one at the end of the drive wouldn't open so we had to leave our bag of trash outside of it.

4/10 Poor

The home- nice… VACASA- terrible experience
The cabin is adorable for sure! It definitely had that going for it. However, our first impression was that it was not as clean as it looked in the pictures. Wasn’t horrible though, nothing a mom of 3 littles can’t handle. My main complaints were the garbage outside was 1/2full already (we stayed Saturday-Saturday with 5 people), the decks were a mess of brush from the trees (I swept, we live in the country and I blow my decks off daily, something the cleaning people could easily do), there was an empty beer can on the floor behind the couch 😳 (so easy to spot) and just not real clean overall. When we got there my son impatiently jumped over the deck and let us in waiting for us to get the key out (no one locked the patio door), the neighbors are A LOT closer than they look in the pictures, and my kids were so excited for the bunk beds and the furniture upstairs was rearranged and the bunks separated and taken down (my son luckily helped me put it back together so my girls would be happy, but it was really heavy and not safe). We’ve stayed in a lot of rental homes, it was just kind of a bummer for nearly $5,000. I also have never booked through VRBO and then rented through VACASA, 🤦🏻‍♀️ will NEVER do that again! I had never even heard of them. The customer service agent I finally got ahold of was awful. We booked this trip in the winter and as the time neared, Yellowstone got flooded and it said all exits would be closed north and all we knew was that our rental was north west of Yellowstone. VACASA never reached out so I messaged them on VRBO because that’s what it said to do. We had a 16 hour drive, I wanted to make sure we had a place to stay. They NEVER responded and I messaged twice on VRBO where it said to. When I did finally call and wait on the phone forever to get an agent, he appeared to have no clue there was a flood there and didn’t know what to tell me, just that he “thinks it’s ok!?” 🤦🏻‍♀️ I said is there anyone that I could get ahold of that would know for sure? “No”. He was awful, gave me no reassurance. I hope the owners consider some other company than VACASA. It’s an adorable home with so much potential. We will make sure to NEVER book anything with VACASA again and warn others the same.

Wonderful Get-Away
This is a beautiful cabin in the woods, right beside the Gallatin River. Everything about this stay was wonderful. Spacious cabin perfect for families or small groups. Very clean, well stocked with towels (both bath and even beach towels), travel-sized soaps and shampoos, full kitchen, camping chairs and campfire area to enjoy the river bank location. It was perfect and I hope to be back!!

Great Riverfront Home
We really loved staying here. The house was adorable and perfect for our family. My boys had a great time fishing on the river. The house was close enough to Big Sky to get whatever you need. It was about a 40 minute drive to Yellowstone as well. Thanks for sharing your little bit of Montana with us!

Vacation
Cabin is very cute. You do have to go over a very small kind of sketchy one lane low water bridge. Unfortunately we were there during the floods at Yellowstone and we had to evacuate the cabin. We were not warned and almost didn't get out due to the road being flooded. I know natural disasters happen but it was quite scary. I would not recommend this house for anyone that has any fears of bridges. No TVs present in the house. Nice woodstove that works well. Nice washer and dryer and grill on the porch. Very small dishwasher. Overall a very comfortable Cabin as long as you're OK with the bridge. We rented through Vacasa and they were wonderful when we had to relocate. I would highly recommend this company.

Private and cozy, away from the beaten path
There is no TV, but a nice CD music collection instead. I love it! It's only a mountain away from the Yellowstone National Park, but unless you can climb it, there's a (relatively short) 38 mile drive to the West Yellowstone entrance. There is no AC, but being in the mountains, you will not miss it. Washer and Dryer are onsite and that's what you need. Dishwasher is there too. Gas grill is on the deck and there is a fire pit next to the river. Gallatin river level was a bit high, which made the private road bridge look a little sketchy. We fared just fine.
