The pictures online looked great, not sure when they were taken, but it was a while ago. It is getting pretty run down and not clean. Seems as if it’s mostly employee housing and they have tbe good rooms!! Tried the restaurant, it was so so, Lady at the front was nice, but even though our room was cleaned, wouldn’t let us check in even 15 minutes early. Just not helpful.

The staff of Bucks are all very nice. Very accommodating. Very clean and very convenient. I will say that the rooms are a bit dated. I don’t think they’ve been updated in a very long time. However given the age of the decor it was very well maintained. Also note….if you are anticipating that big highly rated breakfast, you should know you will be getting a small brown bag breakfast due to Covid. However every restaurant everywhere is serving so not sure how that’s a valid reason. In summary, it’s a good location. Half way between Bozeman and Yellowstone West Gate. It’s clean and safe. Hope this helps.

The hotel is so dated. The sink is right at the door and so low. Carpet is dirty inside and outside the room. The surrounding of the hotel is pretty and staffs are friendly. The hotel is in middle of no where, 50 miles from west entry of Yellowstone National park, that’s the only two advantages of this hotel.

The lodge is definitely an older place but in good shape. It was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. Due to COVID, they were not doing a normal breakfast but the food they provided was very good. The location is convenient to Big Sky and has a wonderful view of the mountains.

Staff was very friendly and informative. Lodge is pretty basic as far as things to do on the grounds. The restaurant was very good,but expensive. Rooms are tired and extremely loud. We heard every footstep above us, in the halls, and road traffic. No soundproofing at all. For the price, and amount of time spent in our room, it was just ok.

We enjoyed the rustic look, the room size and the friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights, on Tuesday and Wednesday the restaurant was closed due to lack of staffing. All understandable due to the times. I would recommend Buck.s.

Liked that the staff got us our room earlier than the 4 pm checkin and the restaurant on the property was very convenient. Initially there was a smell in our room and in the hallway but after awhile we got used to it.
