The absolute WORST hotel I could possibly imagine. The word 'hotel' is even generous. I cannot even imagine how they made walls as thin as they did, but there is literally no hope of sleeping before midnight or after 5:30 a.m. Woken up about 17 teams over the course of three nights and legitimately tried to sleep in my car in the parking lot over my room by the third night (which was legitimately better). The picture attached is of where I slept.
On top of that, when I arrived after 12 hours of driving, the manager insisted I didn't have a reservation. Of course, I did. But instead of logging the reservation in their system, they decided the logical thing to do was put in on a sticky note next to their computer. After 20 minutes of just arguing with the attendant, they "realized" it was me. Completely idiotic. The next door restaurant also messed up our dinner reservations BOTH nights -- incredibly.
Does it go without saying, or should we mention the fact that about half the people in the hotel didn't feel like wearing masks -- something the hotel implicitly allowed. Even when standing inside talking to the hotel staff attendees.
Our smoke alarm was broken and went off in the middle of the day -- just for fun I guess. Someone came into our room to fix it -- and didn't have a mask of course, so I guess the choice is risking getting sick or having something going off in your room at 400 decibels.
