"The Villa was gorgeous, comfortable and had all the amenities you could ask for. Antonio gave us the best briefing and his own wine, Dona Niza, when we arrived. He had preheated the pool for us. He also helped us arrange our driver to and from Lisbon airport, assisted with some business we needed and suggested restaurants and activities. The convenient location, walking distance to groceries, beach and restaurants and comfort of the home made it hard for us to leave for next leg of our journey"

Our daughter was 13 whilst we were there, Zara booked a beautiful restaurant on the beach & supplied a gorgeous cake for Holly, thanks Zara."

"The place was clean and very spacious! Our unit had 3.5 bathrooms, which was great for the 5 of us. We had our own pool and they gave us beach/pool towels. The resort/complex is beautiful and everything is new and contemporary. I'd definitely stay there again."

"Villa Barreto is the perfect place for total relaxation. You can only hear the "sound of silence" The villa is spacious and the garden is awesome with a heated pool. All very well maintained, thanks to gardener Antonio and limpeza Vera. We were a group of 8 and decided to book the villa again. "

"This isn’t an exceptional villa as the only 5 available reviews state. It is homely and authentic but bedroom furniture is outdated, garden furniture is cheap plastic and loungers were not clean. A small investment to put decent outside furniture in ( the main table is a collapsible camping table ) would really enhance the villa. There wws very little cleaning materials - only an old indoor broom, a dustpan but no brush and a mop. A hoover would really have helped. And there is a major problem...

"Although the payment process was choppy and not well organized, the property was perfect. The property is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. My children and grandchildren came for a family BBQ and we had enough dishes and utensils to serve everyone. The swimming pool is large and very well filtered. Once you pass the original paperwork step, the experience is one of pure delight."

"Excellent location for access to beach, restaurants and bars. Outside area (pool, shower, bbg, sunbeds,toilet and garden) all well maintained and used by all the family. Inside, just needs a bit of updating as dose some of the crockery. "

We had a few minor issues, but within a couple of hours of us reporting them the next morning they were all sorted without any fuss by Rosario and her family.
