"We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

She was able to acquire dinner reservations at quaint but excellent restaurants throughout our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. Very enjoyable experience. 6 stars! "An amazing and relaxing stay. Great place. Staff were accommodating. Alfredo and Melissa were lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy. Had everything you needed and short drives to lovely parts of Tuscany. The homemade olive oil and wine were also a highlight. "

"Such a cute little Villa just outside of Pistoia. Stayed there all week. Kitchen was great with most items supplied. Bed was extremely hard which made it difficult to sleep. Couch in living rm was very old and hard to sit on. The owners are the BEST and try to make your stay most pleasing. Nice pool and views. Very convenient to Pistoia and Florence. Would use again, but can only hope they upgrade bed and couch. Would rate as a GOOD plus."
