Podere Filazzi, Gaiole in Chianti, Siena and Chianti

Immersed in a deep green valley with rolling hills and gorgeous views, Podere Filazzi is a country villa with charming designs inside and out. The environment is far enough from civilisation to guarantee peace and quiet, yet the wonderful towns of Bucine and Gaiole are just a half hour drive away. A large pergola shelters a pair of comfortable sunloungers, and a smart wooden dining table with six chairs are set beside the barbeque.

Inside, you’ll find a décor which combines authentic farmhouse styles with sleek and functional modern convenience. The spacious kitchen-diner is connected to the lounge via an archway, making the entire ground floor a great place to gather. Meanwhile, the bedrooms are bright with high ceilings and a soothing atmosphere, ready to welcome you home after visiting the local sights.

Our Thoughts

We were especially impressed by the pool area at Podere Filazzi – beautifully designed and situated at a perfect position to catch some sun and relax amongst the lush green landscapes. The pergola is also a standout feature, with a design that’s both classy and rustic. Plus, with views of the pool and the valley from the upper floors, there’s natural beauty and supreme comfort throughout. We’d most certainly recommend this villa to a small family or group of friends who want to spend quality time together away from the modern world.

The property is semi-detached and the owner lives in the adjoining house. They may occasionally use the pool. The owner owns cats which may roam about the exterior of the property.

The pool sunloungers are not on the tiled pool-side since there is no room for them. Instead, they are on the grassy area close by.



Swimming Pool

The pool measures 18x10 metres with a depth of 1.4 metres and is open from mid-May until mid-September. A set of terracotta steps lead up to the pool area, which is furnished with 2 sunloungers, 2 outdoor armchairs and a sofa. A set of Roman steps lead down into the water, which is cleaned with a chlorine-free system. The pool is occasionally used by the owner.
