ABOUT CASA GIARDINO
This lovely apartment is ideally located in the centre of the hamlet and develops on one level on a raised ground floor with independent access and panoramic gravelled garden/terrace for al fresco dining. The apartment is characterised throughout by the typical Tuscan materials, such as terracotta tiled floors and chestnut beam and terracotta tiled ceilings, while the exteriors are made of local stone. It comprises of a separate and generous kitchen/dining area, with French doors opening onto the private panoramic terrace; a living room with double sofa bed, a large double bedroom with wardrobe, a bathroom with shower. The terrace is probably the best feature of this apartment with lovely views, and comes fitted with outdoor furniture.
The apartment has central heating and A/C, internet access, flat screen satellite TV, fully fitted kitchen. The guests can also enjoy the shared facilities such as panoramic pool, sun deck, the gym, the laundry, and the underground reserved parking space.
It is an ideal location to fully enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the Tuscan countryside has to offer, albeit within walking distance of all the local amenities of Gaiole in Chianti. From here it is easy to reach the villages of Radda in Chianti, Volpaia, Panzano, Castellina in Chianti, and the cities of San Gimignano, Siena and Florence, just to mention a few!

The apartments are located in the spectacular Borgo di Gaiole, a popular hamlet just a short walk from the centre of the renown Gaiole in Chianti, right in the heart of the Chianti region, and only 20 minutes drive from the wonderful Siena.
The apartments are characterised throughout by the typical Tuscan materials, such as terracotta tiled floors and chestnut beam ceilings, and they are furnished with fully fitted kitchen, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating, and tastefully decorated to give the feeling of a home away from home. The place was amazing!!!! Great outdoor space for dining and LOTS of space inside. The property manager was simply wonderful and took great care of us throughout. Looking forward to a return visit!!!

Gaiole in Chianti
Wir haben uns das Ferienobjekt ausgewählt, um unter anderem an der Eroica 2023 teilzunehmen. Gaiole ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die großen und kleinen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung zu erkunden. Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir von dem Ferienobjekt sehr angetan. Es machte doch einen sehr guten Eindruck! Getrübt wurde dieser dann, dass es zu unserer Ferienwohnung erst einmal 39 Stufen hinauf ging. Für 14 Tage hatten wir genügend Gepäck mit. Die Wohnung war recht großzügig und eine Terrasse gab es auch. Allerdings suchten wir einen Kleiderschrank vergebens. In der Küche war der Backofen sehr verschmutzt und erst nach intensiver Reinigung durch den Vermieter nutzbar. Zu unserem Leidwesen funktionierte auch der Geschirrspüler über die gesamte Zeit nicht. In den ersten Tagen war auch der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage nicht nutzbar, da er mit alten Möbeln belegt war. Zum Schluß muss noch erwähnt werden, dass die Wohnung für Gehbehinderte nur sehr schwer erreichbar ist.

Schönes Objekt
Das Borgo ist eine schön konzipierte Anlage mit ca. 40 Appartments/Häusern , einem alten toskanischem Dorf nachempfunden. Das Borgo liegt etwas oberhalb vom Ortskern Gaiole ( ca. 400m) höher gelegen mit Anstieg. Zu Fuß schon etwas anstrengend . Die Wohnung selber ist dann im Borgo über eine Treppe zu erreichen ( 2.Stock, 50 Stufen). Tiefgaragenstellplatz für das Auto sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung ist komfortabel eingerichtet, grosses Bett (leider kein Kleiderschrank), wohnraum mit SmartTV und Top Wlan Verbindung . In der Küche ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Grosse Terrasse mit grossem Sonnenschirm und Blick auf die Landschaft und andere Wohnungen. Pool am anderen Ende vom Borgo, ein paar Meter zu laufen, ,leider keine Liegen am Pool, für längeren Aufenthalt nicht so geeignet. Kontakt zur Agentur und die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut. Das Dorf Gaiole ist wirklich schön, noch sehr ursprünglich, viele Restaurants und Bars, auch ein Coop vor Ort zum einkaufen. Es war ein schöner Urlaub, nicht perfekt, aber die Wohnung ist zu empfehlen. Noch ein Tipp; Mückenschutz nicht vergessen, wichtig!
