"Our stay at the Barbacane was lovely. It's pretty close to Spoleto, though a somewhat winding road. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. We had a very nice time there! "

"Unique, clean and beautiful remodeled tower. Traveling with family (5 total), there was plenty of space and accommodations had a full kitchen (we mainly used for breakfast). "Beautifully located in the mountains close to Assisi this house was a great place to be. The views alone were stunning. The outdoor spaces were like a little oasis from the hustle of travel. "The house is a charming old house with all the aminities one needs. Every day the pool is cleaned by Gabrielle, a very nice old man. The house is beautifully located in the hills above de valey of Spoleto and in fact on the pilgrims road between Spoleto and Assisi. We made some beautiful walks. The garden is shaded en well suited for dogs. Ours loved it. We certainly hope to return."

"Spent 10 days at the villa in late August '24. The weather was excellent and the location + pool was perfect for our family. The villa is well appointed with all mod cons but the boiler did break leaving us without hot water for 24 hours. No drama and the owners responded as quickly as possible to resolve this. "My wife and I spent 7 days (Oct.25-Nov.1,2024) in Corciano at the Rock House. It was fabulous. Corciano and the house are gems. Corciano has all the charm of an ancient hilltop village without being overrun with other tourists and endless stores/shops. We felt immersed in a little true Italian community. "Villa Eleanora is in quite a lovely location convenient to many sites in Umbria. The facilities were very well taken care of and clean. The outdoor terrace and pool areas were really lovely. The inside could use a little updating especially the kitchen area. Also more lighting would help. All in all quite a nice experience. "
