"Our stay at the Bear Creek was absolute bliss! Nestled among towering trees and alongside a gentle creek. We had another home booked for a wedding that we were attending but it was heavily damaged from Hurricane Helene and we needed to find another home QUICK! I came across this home and it was everything we needed regarding size and sleeping arrangements. We were pleasantly surprised to learn it was only 7 minutes away from the wedding venue at Mountain Brook Vineyards. Couldn’t be any more...

"Our hostess was truly nothing short of amazing. While she was very kind and caring to our needs she was also extremely accommodating and receptive to our puppies as well. The property is housed in a very secure and secluded area of natural habitat. You will get the feel of the great outdoors wile having the comforts of home. We saw lots of deer and other natural wildlife on the property and our animals go to experience and explore the great outdoors in their own way in a stress free environment....

"The VRBO is very well appointed and perfect for a couple's private getaway. Many thoughtful touches - robes, coffee, etc. Would not recommend this for anyone with a physical disability as the entrance is steep."

The tv didn’t work, or we couldn’t figure it out, but we didn’t need it because we were out most of the time. The bathroom sliding door was wonky so we didn’t use that either. "What a unique and enjoyable property. A quaint little town nearby with some interesting restaurants. The cabin has everything you could want. It is on a great piece of land with hiking trails and creek. Great property owners. Looks like a cool place to hold a wedding also. "

"The cabin was clean and well laid out. Plenty of necessaries if you wanted to cook. Coming in I would’ve appreciated Better signage at the road, but knowing now it is part of a larger property under construction. Still a nice view and the construction did not interfere with my stay. This was a cozy cabin and I would stay there again."

"Our stay here was very nice. The property was very clean and the check in and out process was very easy, and everything was set up for us. The upstairs of the property did have an odor of cigarettes and downstairs smelled a bit like an animals; this didn’t ruin our stay but made it a little less enjoyable for those that had to sleep downstairs."

"We had an amazing stay!! Great space for our entire family! The boys loved the loft area. My family had so much fun playing with games, cards, books and corn hole boards! We will definitely be back!!"

"The location of this cabin was perfect for back and forth trips to TIEC over a 3 day period. We were able to come back for meals, and to relax after a long day. Seeing deer every morning and evening was definitely a bonus!! Just beware that there are stone floors on the main level so slippers is advised for early in the morning. :)"

We couldn't have found a better location than this place! Home was well stocked with everything you might need, great outdoor area, dock for some fishing, and plenty of firewood for a great campfire! 5 STARS! "
