"Perfect stay at Funplace, people in reception made everything for us to have a perfect stay! They helped us to fix my broken shoe and gave a cream to relieve my friend who got hurt. Only the last day they didnt come to clean the room (there is absolutely no problem with that), and we found a dead cocroach in the bathroom in the morning just before to go. "Blocks off the beach. Beach sand coral and coarse. Host is responsive and provides a concierge. Access to surfing spots. Seasonal temperature and humidity is bordering intolerable. Political graffiti is ever present. Beautiful islands, third world charm. Overwhelming Muslim environment, including social restrictions. Safe and fair value, fantastic effort by host and concierge as much as possible. Long and pricey taxi by boat ($50 a couple each way) to arrive at the property. Noise disturbances...

"The staff of this hotel were very nice. However, it’s not worth the money paid. The breakfast was an egg, a few pieces of oranges and apples, two pieces of white break and a mini hot dog. I had to go to the neighborhood supermarket afterwards to get additional nourishment. The bed was as hard as a rock. Very noisy room with sounds from the traffic below. But the staff, again, made the day. Extremely friendly people. "

"I liked the elevator to reach my room on the third floor. I also liked being close to the Red Wave supermarket in the area. However, my room was pretty noisy both at night and in the early morning. There were strange noises coming from upstairs early morning. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful."

"Beautiful modern accomodation. Pick up and drop off from the ferry was included and great. The staff were incredible friendly and helpful about the island. Would definitely recommend staying here. "

"Everything is perfect for a wonderful vacation. Wifi is the only thing that needs to be upgraded, internet is shocking in some areas of the resort. On the other hand, you are away from market and any local city so the in resort activities and shop is bit expensive. "

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa

"I stayed in the bungalow duplex overlooking garden and sea and later moved to the water bungalow and loved both - the furnishings a quite dated, but very well kept! The best is the island was simply fantastic - allowed me to find quiet solitary space --- the staff were simply respectful, welcoming and very divine. I loved the restaurant staff at Chopstix and Baan Thai (of course al the Masala Hut) - but I kept on returning to Chopstix and Baan - the ladies took care of me. My concierge lady was fabulous - and the guys at the Beach hut with bbq fish day was fabulous also. Thank you so much ladies and gentlemen for the lovely stay - BTW - I loved the outdoor gym and Kayaking in the morning or late afternoon -- I actually got so much in shape and lost weight even if I ate a lot --- lotsa physical activities made for a perfect: Eat, Pray Love and Workout Christmas Holiday!"
