"A very clean, safe and comfortable property. Definitely more like an air B n B that has some hotel qualities. We enjoy cooking and the Amani had all the cookery we required. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only perplexing part was when we asked to extend our stay. The travel websites I checked said that there were vacancy's but when we inquired the front desk said no and it appeared to me that they didn't even check. Also no elevators so if don't like stairs this may not be for you....

"Hans was a wonderful host and the property is immaculate with a beautiful garden and a crystal clear pool. It’s a short walk to the beach even with a toddler. The best part was Hans connecting us with great local accommodations including a FANTASTIC chef, Hassan. We look forward to staying there again. "

"We arrived Wed. evening before Christmas. At 6pm the power went out. The lights worked but the A/C & frig did not. The staff was unconcerned & left for the night. It was very uncomfortable overnight at 80 degrees F & 90% humidity without A/C. The next morning the manager called an electrician. He was there several hours but couldn't fix the power, another night without A/C. The upstairs bathroom had no running water. The staff left buckets of water to flush the toilet.
