"Adding a couple days on the front of a Viking cruise, we spent a couple of days in Brasov. We prefer to stay close to downtown. I found Rossmarkt Haus on a popular hotel website. As is typically the case, finding a place to park can be quite difficult, so splurge for the optional private parking which is ~100 meters from the building, which also houses a restaurant. There are no elevators so you’ll be carrying your bags up one or two flights of stairs. We stayed in room #1, which had a big living room, separate bedroom, and a large bathroom. Wooden floors and windows overlooking the street, the living space was very comfortable. A mini-split unit covered the HVAC needs nicely. Breakfast is included, and is a choice between a hotel buffet across the street, or a la carte from the restaurant downstairs. We preferred the buffet. All-in-all, a very enjoyable stay, and one that we’d recommend if you’re going to be in Brasov. See my other reviews (Ograda and Cucinino) for places to dine. Recommended"

"Perfect place to stay as a solo traveller, right in the heart of old town. Was very clean and had everything you’d need, staff was lovely as well. "

"The apartment is beautiful. Just like in the pictures. It's close to the old town, so lot of shops are available with a short walk. Parking can be difficult during the day, but we found it was like that anywhere close to the old town. After 8 pm more paking spots become available close to the flat. I would recommend this flat and would come back."

"The dining and conference facilities are absolutely impeccable. Staff are efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and everything is highly convenient. The drain of the bathroom sink let in some unwanted smells, the mattress was comfortable but lumpy. Overall quite pleased. Borderline worth the asking price and would certainly stay again. "
