Quinta Belmonte is located in the heart of the parish of Monte, and its location offers us a privileged view over the Bay of Funchal. Across the street, Quinta dos Jardins do Imperador, formerly the residence of Emperor Carlos of Austria and from 2023, the Madeira Romanticism Museum. Opposite, the lush gardens of Monte Palace. The basket trolleys are at the door of the house, and a few meters away, a Cable Car accessing the Old Town of Funchal, and another to the Botanical Garden.
