Luxury penthouse near Schlick 2000. Huge, south-facing rooftop terrace with heat-lamp, dining, loungers & a grill. Stunning, private mountain & forest views from the multitude of windows. Inside boasts a top-quality kitchen and dining area plus a gaming / chill / sleeping area in a cosy den in the new rafters. Indulge in the delectable sofa and chaise by Bretz, and zen table by Sisyphus. Two stunning bedrooms; two Italian granite bathrooms; one day bed; one enormous hammock net; one snug; a lot of fun.
In Detail:
Cosy underfloor heating throughout. A roaring fireplace. Triple-glazed, floor to ceiling, sliding glass doors to a terrace with unrivalled views.
Tell Alexa to turn on Spotify and Netflix for you through the 50" Samsung Frame TV and Sonos 5.1 speaker combination. Or, to get away from it all, climb up into the snug and indulge in 4-Player Goldeneye or Mario Kart on the N64.
There's a wine fridge built into the 'Black-Scorpion’ granite kitchen, along with Miele, Kitchen-Aid and SMEG appliances.
Why not fall asleep gazing at the stars under the large ceiling windows - and wake up to them opening automatically at your chosen time (rather than that disappointing alarm noise you're used to). Inhale the fresh mountain air before even having to leave the safety of your toasty goose-feather duvet nestled inside the Egyptian Cotton sheets.
Very little expense has been spared here. You'll know that once you have felt the hug that only a Cloud 9 Sofa by Bretz can provide.
There's air-conditioning for keeping the apartment cool during our hot summer months. With dining inside and out for eight people, you can come with up to two families.
There are two master bedrooms - and for those who are more nimble, there are the options of: hopping up into the day-bed with incredible panorama views on three sides; climbing the ladder up into the snug (three single beds or one king); or rock climbing up onto an enormous hammock net with cosy single bed beside it.
You can even choose to sleep outside if you want - there's a direct-heat lamp above the outdoor lounge furniture, which, when rearranged, can form a double bed.
One bedroom has an enviable ensuite bathroom, complete with shower and fossilised wood sink. The other bedroom has a private balcony. There is one other, main bathroom with a large shower and a bathtub. The third bathroom is located in the communal Zen & Chill Complex (outside of your apartment).
The whole apartment has been created and finished with natural materials. Wood, stone and clay, which provide a sensational living environment.
You'll feel at one with nature inside and out of our deluxe penthouse apartment.

AREA OVERVIEW:
The location is hard to beat. It's nestled within one of Austria's most spectacular valleys, Stubaital, and surrounded by some of the country's highest peaks. It's a 10 minute drive from Innsbruck (dubbed 'the heart of the Alps'), and is abundant with adventure activities of all kinds from Olympic bobsleigh to paragliding right over the village.
The 100km+ of pistes in the valley's four main resorts are impeccably maintained. Schlick 2000 is accessible via a 15 minute walk from the chalet (or free bus), and the Stubai Glacier (snow guarantee 10 months of the year), Elfer, and Serlesbahnen are all accessible by a free shuttle bus that stops right next to the chalet.
100% snow guarantee! You can ski and snowboard at the Stubai Glacier every month of the year except July & August.
The summer activities are equally bountiful – hiking, biking, lakes, mountain carting, and rock climbing to name but a few. I've compiled a guidebook of all my favourite activities – it'll keep you busy for four weeks straight (doing 2 per day!) whatever the weather.

In winter there's a free shuttle to take you to the resorts in the valley. In summer there's also a bus to take you around (but you have to pay a little).
You could rent bicycles (or e-bikes) to cruise along following the valley's meandering river to the stunning mountain lake (Kampler See) to sunbathe, or play beach volleyball / frisbee / football / cards / boules. There aren't many more beautiful places than that in the world (believe me - I've spent 6 years on the road in 75 different countries)..
Innsbruck is 10 mins drive away in a car, 30 mins by bus, or a stunning 1 hour tram ride winding through beautiful mountain villages.
We do have limited parking - but please contact us if you plan on bringing cars!

Additional rules
- No shoes in the house
- No noise outside after 9pm please. That means strictly windows shut if music or loud voices. We are in a residential area, and the neighbours will report you (me) - which is a shame, but something I am really trying hard to adhere to in order to keep them happy.
- Parking: There's one space at the chalet for the Penthouse, and one a little way off-site. There's also parking at the underground car park in Fulpmes centre (Google Maps: Eisarena Fulpmes). €6 per day.
If you contact Doug about parking, it MAY be possible for you to park a second car at the house. If so: Please park in a line in front of the garage, but do NOT block the unloading bay - which must be kept free..
- Please do not park on or near the ramp on the other side of the house. Cars may only park here at specific times (described on the sign). My neighbour needs this space for deliveries from 7am.
- The huge field / garden behind our garden is NOT public. Please do not climb over the fence or go around - sadly the neighbours will spot it & report it.
