"Beautiful Property,” "Most equipped,” "Comfortable House,” "Beautiful Original Artwork,” "Wonderful Host,” and "Excellent Stay!" are some of the words used by our guests to describe this house.
This is a wonderful home perfect for travelers who want to relax after a long day, or for those on business or a romantic getaway who appreciate arts and creativity. It's also great for spending time with friends, family, or colleagues. Our home is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac neighborhood and has four bedrooms, with one king bed and three queen beds comfortably for 8 guests. The house features three dining tables, a pool table, an outdoor kitchen with a wood-burning oven, grill, and herb garden. There are two covered patios for your use, and the entire house is adorned with unique and fascinating artifacts we've collected over the years. We've also equipped the house with modern amenities such as Alexa to ensure you're comfortable during your stay. We aim to provide you with a relaxing and comfortable experience.
Our family has lived in this house for over 30 years, and we've put a lot of effort into making it special during that time. We didn’t have the heart to sell it and we moved to the house next door. This new house has an independent suite that we could provide you if you were to need 5 bedrooms. During your stay, we kindly ask that you respect the house and its rules, just as we respect our guests. If you're looking for a memorable experience, our home is the perfect place to stay.
Please take the time to read the contract and be aware of the following rules:
Check-in/Checkout:
•Check-in is available at your convenience after 3 PM or later. Please ensure that you have a valid ID and the same credit card that was used to book your reservation for verification purposes.
•It is important that the number of guests at the time of booking matches the number of guests who will be staying in the house. If you plan to have visitors during your stay, kindly inform us in advance. Please note that large parties are not allowed in the house.
•We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping the noise level and music volume at a reasonable level, especially after 10 PM.
Pets:
•Regarding pets, we do not allow pets in the house, but we might make an exception for small dogs for an additional fee. Please contact us first before bringing your pet.
Pool/Spa:
•The spa can be heated for free, but since heating the pool can be expensive, we ask guests who wish to heat the pool (up to 82 degrees) to pay $50 per day for the cost of heating the pool. Please note that our pool is not gated, so it might not be ideal for families with toddlers or very young children. Using the pool and spa is at your own risk.
•To ensure your safety, please use good judgment around the pool. Jumping from the wall into the pool is prohibited, and the deepest section of the pool is only 6 feet.
Fees:
•Please note that fees might apply for the following: Extra-person (more than 8) $85 daily per person, including visitors; exceptions for a small dog $50 daily; heating the pool (to 82 degrees) $50 per day; and smoking in the house fine $200 (backyard or patio OK).
Asking for help:
•If you encounter any challenges related to our home, please do not hesitate to ask us for help. We live next door in another house, and we will promptly assist you. We want you to have a great stay!
Please refer to our "home guide" to learn how to operate the remotes, coffee maker, and other appliances.
Note:
•Note that any reservation obtained under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and guest fees. False pretenses include, but are not limited to, providing false names or ages or any material fact that would normally cause the rental request to be refused (e.g., having a large loud party, or inviting extra visitors).
Our house is at the end of a cul-de-sac surrounded by many trees making it a relaxing, restful retreat. However, if you would like to get out and explore the city, Fullerton has become known for its lively downtown, which boasts many appetizing restaurants, bars, and an active nightlife. From April to October, Thursday nights offer the locals a taste of music and food at the downtown Farmer's market at dusk. Head out on the popular 12-mile Fullerton Loop hiking/biking trail located in the heart of Fullerton, where you will encounter other people exploring the outdoors with their dogs, horses, or bikes.
We are located near all major Southern California attractions including Disneyland, Knott's, Berry Farm, and the beautiful beaches of Orange County and Los Angeles. Fullerton is also a college town, home to Cal State Fullerton University. It is only a few miles from the 57, 91, and 5 freeways. We have lived in Southern CA for many years and can give you many tips on places to visit. If you have any questions, please ask.
We are about 20 minutes walking distance from the train station in downtown Fullerton. Getting around typically requires a car and driving in Southern California, but we have found many people use car services too.
