"This Villa is beautiful and a great size for a group of friends or family, but the best part of this place was the accommodation of the hosts. We had Francesco who greeted us and looked after us for the week, organising a boat trip for us, and as a group of friends who wasn’t driving he provided us a phone number for a great taxi company that were there for us whenever we needed. The location was great, however there isn’t really any footpaths so you are like walking on a road, so small journeys...

"Because of the pilot strike we couldn’t to go to Sicily. Very unfortunately since we had been looking forward to stay in this beautiful house in wonderful Marsala. The host, Massimo, has been most helpful and kind and we hope to stay here next year instead."

"Good place to stay for visiting Western Sicily. The pool area is beautiful and has a stunning view. As there were only 3 of us staying, this place gave us lots of space and the separate room and bathroom was lovely for our adult daughter to have her own private space. Good location for travel to lovely cove beaches and about an hour from San Vito Capo beach and not far from Palermo. Scopello is a must visit for evening dining in a beautiful setting. Hosts greated us and left wine and pastries...

"This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

"A lovely place to spend our second week in Sicily, close enough to the town but also secluded. Proximal to some fantastic places like the Zingaro Reserve, Scopello, Salt Marshes on the West Coast and Erich. It was extremely hot, up to 47 degrees whilst there, which brought out the wasps in droves, disrupted Wi-Fi connection and restricted our activities for a couple of days. "Villa Marinella is perfectly located to explore this part of Sicily: San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Segesta, La Tonnara, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello++. There are fantastic beaches close by for swimming and snorkelling. The villa itself is perfect for relaxing by the pool or in the seating area during the heat of the day or for taking "sun-downers" The hosts Manuela and Marco were attentive and gave us good tips on places to visit and made great suggestions for restaurants. Can strongly recommend"

"The villa is very clean and comfortable and the hosts keep in touch so that you feel very secure throughout the booking process. It's situated off the main road amongst a beautiful backdrop of mountains and sea. It's airy and cool even in high temperatures. In terms of the local area - there are some wonderful beaches all around but you will need a car as it is off a main road and the local eateries are a short car drive away."

"Das Haus liegt in einer wenig besiedelten schönen Landschaft, nur durch einen Feldweg vom Meer getrennt. Wunderschöner Blick von der Terrasse. Sehr günstig als Stützpunkt für Ausflüge nach Palermo, Castellammare, Trapani, Segesta und das Naturschutz-Wandergebiet Zingaro. Schönes großes Schlafzimmer meerseits, die anderen beiden Zimmer sind sehr klein. Bei Problemen wurde uns von den Eigentümern bereitwillig und zeitnah geholfen. "

"The villa is pleasant enough situated just down the road from the village. We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful. Watch out for biting insects which were a real plague despite insect repellent and citronella candles. Scopello is a pleasant little village with some nice places to eat. It seems to host a wedding every night so can be quite noisy. There are some lovely but rocky beaches nearby and...

" We stayed in villa Raffa with our family whilst we toured Sicily in mid August 2024. From the moment we checked in our host Giovanni made us feel very welcome and went through all logistics and attractions nearby. The villa itself was beautiful and in a great location only a few minutes drive from the beach. The pool was the highlight of our kid’s break especially it being salt water and without chlorine was a massive bonus for the little ones. The hot tub was not hot but the coldness of it...

"Very spacious and tidy. Locating took a minute, but once we arrived properly was very convenient to town. Water pump was a bit rowdy at times. Our family did enjoy our stay."

"Ein Landgut wird beworben, eine heruntergekommene und schmutzige Anlage findet man vor. Überall Müll am Gelände, die Küche/Kühlschrank verdreckt, nicht gekehrt und die Bäder eine Zumutung. Wir mussten erstmal putzen.. Klimatisiert sind nur 2 Doppelzimmer über ein klappriges Gerät in einem Vorraum - wie man hier in heißen Monaten mit bis zu 8 Personen schlafen soll möchten wir uns nicht vorstellen. Viele alte Möbel wo überall kaputte Dinge drin waren, das Untergeschoss nur eine Rumpelkammer......
