"Love love love Tokyo stay and this one doesn’t disappoint. People complain about it being a short walk from the train station but seriously it’s still close. Just past a park and lots of combini near by. The rooms is so comfortable. You can get out of bed on either side. Of course the laundry machine is the highlight. They provide detergent and all instructions. They offer bag storage and overall it’s very easy and comfortable to stay there. I’d highly recommend it over something like an APA....

"Very lovely hotel, staff was friendly, and the location is close to many wonderful shopping areas and food selection. Only down was the room was sooo hot even with the windows open we were sweating. The best feature in the room was the ceiling fan which is the only added feature so we could at least sleep comfortably "

"Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin is a 3-minute walk from Tenjin Station, so the location is really convenient and good. The staff is also very friendly, and since there are many Korean guests, there are staff who can speak Korean. The room size is small, but clean, and there is enough space to fully open the suitcase. The bathroom is also very clean. If I come to Fukuoka again, I would like to stay at this hotel again."

"Overall, a very good hotel in a great location across from the main train station and within walking distance to old Hakata town/neighborhoods with many temples. Also, close to many dining and shopping places. Hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable with great service. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel."

"Staff was friendly. Breakfast was covered each morning which was nice. Lots of free amenities. Rooms were definitely on the smaller side, but I'm sure most hotels are similar in Japan. Close to lots of shopping areas and transportation. "

Dormy Inn Premium Shimonoseki Natural Hot Spring

"Everything is perfect. The location of the hotel is also very close to the station and there is a convenience store nearby. The bus stop is also close, so it's good to go to Karato Market or Akama Shrine. Yume Tower can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. There is a hot spring inside the hotel, so you can enjoy the hot spring freely. Free ramen is served in the evening and many other services are provided for free. It is easy to get to Kokura by subway, and I think it is the best hotel to travel throughout Kitakyushu. I highly recommend this hotel."

"I would give 6 stars if I could. The hotel room and lobby areas are spotless. Staff are also very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast was tasty and wonderful. You get to store your luggage for free for the day of check in and check out so you could go sightsee carefree. Amenities include PJs, coffee, tea, toiletries, etc. Overall very very satisfied with our stay. We also got a water view room so that was a bonus. "
