"If You are looking for an American/European resort this place May disappoint you. When I travel I like authentic local places. This place is totally Africa. Breakfast was modest and great. The food to order from the kitchen was fresh and very reasonably priced. The bring the food to you in front of your bungalow. Security was good. The highlight of my entire trip was swimming with the turtles that you can do for free if you stay here. Very close to beach and local Zoo."

"Hyggeligt hostel. Ejeren/ reception var ikke bemandet ved ankomst men en ven af ejeren fortalte at denne snart var tilbage. Ved ankomst var der strøm afbrydelse der var strømafbrydelse igen om aften men jeg var i bad. Vandet i toilettet virkede ikke altid hvilket ikke er så fedt når mam deler toilet med andre. Man blev konstant smidt af wifi og skulle logge ind igen. Hvis man ser bort fra dette var personalet meget venligt og hjælpsomme når de var der. "

"Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. "Well... we should i start.. first of all..i am quite relaxed about stays ,not to fuzzy at all. check inn is non existent ..carry your luggage up the stairs yourself.. the rooms are horrendous , the matras was torn on several places ,the room was absolutely not clean.. big bugs on the walls, The water was almost every day cut off ,let alone be warm water for showering ,the staff is 1! girl whos rather on her phone than working . i stayed 17 nights ( because paid upfront) there was one other...

"Such a beautiful property! It was not crowded during our stay so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our suite was a bigger sized suite that was perfect for us. It looked out of the front of the property, and we had a little bit of a beach/ ocean view. The breakfast that’s included was made fresh every morning. The staff was very attentive. "I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...
