"The apartment is perfectly situated in the middle of everything you want in Madrid. We had access to all grocery stores and restaurants within 2 blocks. We also had at least 4 theatres within 2 blocks of the apartment. The apartment itself was a pristine, modern and very clean place with all the requirements anyone would need for long or short stays. "Great stay in this lovely apartment. It is close and very easy walking distance to Sol, Plaza Mayor and REALLY close to El Rastro. 24 hour Carrefour supermarket on the corner, Tirso de Molina metro at the plaza at the end of the street. Spacious, comfortable and quiet. Great to have a small kitchen and a washing machine. Would recommend. Only be aware there is a lift but there are 8 or so steps up to the lift, 3 without a balustrade."

"This place has great style and comforting amenities. Host was extremely helpful and stayed in contact the entire trip, met us in person on day one, then followed up with messages. Located in a safe area, close to everything. The street noise at night may bother some (trash dumpster, outdoor conversations). Recommend using a white noise app on your phone. Definitely will book in this exact apartment when I return to Madrid!"

"Everything was excellent, from the reservation process to the apartment itself. Spotlessly clean, in a great neighborhood, and the metro is just a few minutes walk away. The only come in I have and it’s not really a complaint. Thea very unusual sounds coming from the plumbing."

"I booked this listing to be able to use the washing machine. We arrived on a Sunday and there were no clothespins to hang the clothes in the line. It was a challenge finding them with so much closed on Sunday. The shower is angled so that both short me and my vwey tall husband had to shower while holing the sprayer."

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in Madrid! It's a short walk away from a lot of sights, easy to hail a cab outside (even with the sidewalk construction). We opted for the balcony room but looking back on it, wouldn't mind an inside room to cut down on traffic noise in the morning. Atocha is very busy at all hours of the day and with that comes basic traffic noise, (honking, etc). We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip in Spain and we left some items the first night. I wasn't hopeful that they would have hung on to them, but sure enough, I emailed the hotel and they had my items! Very appreciative and thankful for that. All the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would most definitely say here again! "
