"Very central and an easy walk into centre. Lovely setting, it's partly built into the city wall. Very clean and nice communal areas. Communication is very difficult as we have limited Spanish and non of the staff spoke English but we battled through. We've stayed her several times on our way back and forwa to Cadiz and we will definitely stay again. There parking available at a rate of 10Eur per day however it's worth the extra as it is secure."

"The inner courtyard is lovely. We had popped in for a drink when previously in Zafra so this time decided to stay. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was clean. The breakfast was very good and we stayed for dinner, mostly due to the lovely surroundings. The service was very good and the food was fine though not outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint relates to the water. We were on the third floor and we had to waste a considerable amount of water...

"Everything was very clean, there isn’t anyone at the front desk and you have to do everything online but it wasn’t bad. The staff that were there, only during breakfast, were very kind and the food was delicious. "

"easy to find from a8 road hotel very basic rustic no facilities in room except bed wardrobe and bathroom hotel had no services to buy drinks or restuarant closed for breakfast plus side bathroom very good. on check out advised had to pay though i explained booked with expedia but advised this was not payment and had to pay again strange as in other hotels i stopped in hotels advised payments made.."

"Comfortable and quiet place just off the main road to Seville. We were glad to find such a nice place after a full day of driving. Dinner at the restaurant was good and breakfast was not expensive. We were glad that check out time was late. Helped with the jet lag recovery. Staff were friendly and did their best to please with limited English and our limited Spanish."

"An unusual and old fashioned property with generous sized and comfortable rooms. A beautiful courtyard and garden make it a restful place to stay and local bars are walkable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Speaking Spanish is an advantage."

"We have nothing but praise for this hotel! The beds were incredibly comfy, the room was way more spacious than it looked in the picture, and it is super clean! The ‘make your own breakfast’ is really smart - no need to hurry in the mornings :) It’s family run, and they are so nice and helpful. Loved them! The village is cute too, and everyone is really nice and friendly. Lovely Zafra is just a 15 minute drive away. We traveled as a family of three (child aged 8), but it is definitely best...

"Como resumen: la construcción es increíble, recreando una auténtica hacienda. El personal es fantástico, especialmente Fatima, la recepcionista. Pero hay una clara falta de personal y de coordinación, que finalmente se resuelve gracias a la buena voluntad de los empleados. Llegamos a las 8pm y nuestra habitación estaba sin hacer, otro día no cambiaron las toallas… Todo resuelto gracias a la buena voluntad de cada uno de los empleados a los que acudimos con el problema. "The staff were very hospitable which was more similar to the customer service in the U.S. than in other parts of Spain. There were also friendly dogs that were sweet and it's in a very peaceful location. We tried a red wine from their vineyard and I had no complaints."
