A Perfect Fantasy Escape. The 650 sq ft Cottage is beautifully secluded on 10 acres with a private pond. Sit in the hot tub and watch the waterfall cascade into a rock pool and flow into a beautiful 15,000 sq/ft lined swimming pond. The expansive porch and deck are perfect for catching the sun; dining under the stars; hanging out with friends; reading your favorite book...you name it and it will be as good as anything you've imagined. The beach has a zero depth entry for lounging or playing in the water. Inside this gem you will find everything you need for a delightful stay: From the leather lounge and viking bed you can watch the fireplace or the large flat screen TV to the rainfall shower with natural stone and tile. Only a two minute walk from the scenic Shenandoah River. Skyline Drive, hiking and biking trails, 100 holes of golf, shopping, restaurants only 10-20 minutes away!

A beautiful spot, senic, peaceful, and quite. The back roads on the way there after the main road ends definitely required 4 wheel drive but the drive was totally worth it. The hot tub is perfection and the sitting spot at the top of the hill has an amazing view of the property.

Enjoyed a very relaxing romantic getaway. Had breakfast on the porch while a family of deer visited the pond. Read a good book listening to the sounds of the waterfall. Drinks in the hot tub under the stars!! Doesn’t get much better than that!!

Cottage Get Away
This cottage was everything we needed for a weekend get away. From the initial booking and check-in process to departure, Grace made the entire process and experience easy. The cottage itself was very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The openness of the land made it safe and fun for our dogs to roam. It's proximity to various lakes, hiking trails, and local wineries made our entire stay a pleasant experience. We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to staying at another one of Grace's properties!

We love the Pond Cottage
Just a 2-hour drive for us from Annapolis, this has been a repeat Fall getaway place for us for 3 years now (and we hope to come back again next year). For a tiny house, it has everything you need. And to wake up in the morning and just sit with a cup of coffee overlooking the pond is super peaceful. And is close to downtown Front Royal, breweries, wineries, Skyline Dr, hiking, etc. The owners are super communicative and helpful. The cottage was clean and well-kept. Each year we enjoy seeing what else they have added or upgraded. Hope to be back next year.

My wife and I were celebrating a quiet weekend away after our wedding, or a “mini-moon” as I’m told it’s called! This place had everything we needed to cook up some great food and relax! The area with adirondack chairs overlooking the property was the perfect spot to enjoy some coffee and read in the morning. When in Front Royal, check out Vibrissa Brewing - so good!

Top Notch Getaway
Everything about our stay was perfect. House and water were excellent for the two of us and our dogs. Swimming and kayaking was where we spent most of our days. Deer, fox and eagle watching in the mornings was great to take in. Evening fires in the hot tub, with the waterfall in the background, was our nightly unwind. Nice place. Sleeping arrangement a little weird for us. Lots of wildlife birds, frogs, turtles, foxes, squirrels, deer and turkeys. We his red cardinal come to have coffee with us every morning. The frogs at night are extremely loud but very soothing sitting outside with a fire going and hotdogs cooking. House has everything and is very well kept. The hosts were very quick answering questions. Good place.

Lovely getaway house!
My partner and I stayed to celebrate our anniversary and had a fabulous time. The house was clean, super cute, and easy to check into. The property is very private--the only other living creatures we saw were birds, squirrels, and deer during our stay. The hot tub was clean and perfect for stargazing on a clear night. The driving directions were very helpful to have; Google maps sent us the correct way but it was good info to have in case we missed a turn or the signal dropped. We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the swimming hole and waterfall. (My guy dared me to do a polar plunge, but I was too chicken.) Thanks for a lovely vacation!

Quiet getaway
This house is so cute and cozy! I like how there are a lot of activities you can do just right outside, even in the winter: warm up by the fire pit, watch the turtles in the pond, sit up high on the hill for great views, play fetch with our dog, and relax in the hot tub. Shenandoah National Park is only 25-30 minutes away, where there are lots of beautiful scenic stops at overlooks, and great hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay Thanks!

perfectly quite weekend
we had a weekend that was very cold and ground was snow cover which made for a great setting.. everyday we were there we had 9 deer in the yard and they stuck around for a couple of hours each day. house is very nice, clean, comfortable and up to date. only issue we had is we made a pot of soup and there was no ladle. if that's all we can complain about i would say job well done. we will love to go back for the other 3 season as it is such a beautiful setting.
