"Extremely quiet area, very comfortable bed. The bathroom door is made of glass with no privacy which is a little weird, a small curtain would be an easy adition.Bread and viennoiserie for breakfast seemed day old, but having a kitchen with a microwave and toaster helped. The owners had shared they wouldn't be available in the morning for personal reasons it was nice to be able to make more coffee ourselves."

"I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."

"Very friendly staff, place was as advertised. Remote, but quiet. Our family stayed in the silo, which the kids enjoyed. Not advertised -- the trampoline (our 10 and 12 year old loved it); they also asked for cash payment, so we had to head 8km back into town -- but otherwise, a terrific small town, quiet setting, excellent (and copious) food. Wifi was good enough for Facebook, but my husband's work stuff was really slow."

"We can thoroughly recommend this property. This property itself wss fantastic and suited all our needs as a family. Beautiful countryside with spectacular views. "The family has been associated with the property for 3 generations, and it is a gorgeous chateau, in a small village within easy driving distance of Amiens. The setting and the room are gorgeous, and the host and hostess are warm and friendly. They gave us many recommendations about what to do in Amiens. La grande pièce est parfaite pour y passer une très bonne soirée. L'écran de vidéo projecteur est un énorme plus. En revanche, un nouveau barbecue ne serait pas du luxe. Je recommande fortement. "

"The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening....
