Sound Rider is a well maintained cozy cottage in a quiet neighborhood location on a canal off the sound. You can dock your boat at your back door and launch right from the community boat ramp. Comfortable and well equipped, Sound Rider makes a perfect vacation getaway for a family. Sound and sunset views from 2nd floor. Short walk to sound-front sandy beach offers launch site for kayaking, windsurfing, kite surfing or crabbing. Guests need to bring linens, towels, and paper products. Coffee Maker, Microwave, Toaster, Pots/Pans, Dishes, Cutlery, Silverware, Glasses, Mattress Pads, Pillows and Blankets/Comforter are provided. Reservation Fees, Partial Stay Fees, Tax and Insurance Apply.
In case of cancellation or change in any reservation, no refund will be made by Dolphin Realty or the owners we represent unless the unit is re-rented and confirmed by the newer reservation for the cancelled period. All cancellations and changes are subject to a $50.00 charge, reservation fee; Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance premium, Property Protection and Credit Card Processing Fee if applicable. Please notify our office of any changes as soon as possible. No refunds will be issued due to lack of fish or inclement weather. The offered Trip Cancellation and Travel Insurance covers many unforeseen and emergency situations.

Huge disappointment
There were a multitude of problems with the property. First of all the screens on the deck were torn away, so there was no barrier for the flies and mosquitos, so it was unusable. Also, there were piles of dirt and leaves blown in on the deck. The door on the twin bed bedroom could not be unlocked and there was tape on latch to prevent it from closing tight. Otherwise, the occupant would be locked in the room. The return air vents at the stairway were black and disgusting. On the second floor one of the chairs had a hole punctured in the arm. The pull chain for the light and ceiling fan were at least 10 feet high. The fan came on with the switch, but the setting couldn't be changed and the light didn't come on. It the area past the kitchen there was an area that looked as if a ceiling fan or light may have been there in the past and now there are just holes in the ceiling and part of the paint is loose and falling. I reported the these issues and more to Dolphin Realty. They were supposed to contact the owner and call me back. They never did and no adjustment was made for all the issues

Very quaint
We checked in early on the 12th, the only issue we had was a back up on the sanitation pipe on the air-conditioning, which cars and mildew smell through the property. That was repaired as soon as we called the property manager.. It is a very quaint place, but I would recommend some updates. Thank you for our stay

Carpet had stains,screen door would not shut, furniture was not comfortable no good cook ware had to go out buy a pan cook in,chairs broken on the deck, combwe s every where inside,needs good cleaning and remodeling would not recommend for anyone!!

Absolutely best rental we have ever had!
This place was amazing! Big bedrooms alot of stairs though but nothing to bad. Big kitchen fully stocked with pans plates etc...does need new microwave, can opener .definately needs flat screen in livingroom old tv cant play game systems. House is emaculate and all redone. Definately will be back!
