"We needed a quiet and calm week's holiday. The area was recommended to us and we found the hotel coincidentally. It was not peak season I gathered, which was a bonus as not many people around. I loved the terrace and reading room. if we go that area ever again, I will book the same hotel. "

"Great villa, 7 adults in 4 bedrooms. Bathrooms could do with bath mats, anti slip mat as you need to get in the bath for a shower, I did actually slip, we had to use tea towels in the bath and on the floor. One of the shower heads had lime scale so just a trickle. Could do with toilet roll holders. No extra towels or bed linen, one of the double bedrooms had no wardrobe or drawers, not great for a 2 week stay. Kitchen had plenty cutlery and crockery but lacking cooking utensils etc, had to buy a...

"Beautiful cottage, small but ideal for two. Lovely gardens. A bit of traffic noise because it's right above a bend on the main road to Frigiliana and, as others have mentioned, dogs barking through the night are off putting, but probably out with the owners control. Some information on the surrounding area, amenities etc. would be helpful.. The electric blanket, bathroom heater, air con heating and of course a great wood burning stove made this an excellent, cosy winter stay"

"Lovely traditional house set in the frigiliana hills with views to the coast. The house is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Good beds in both doubles, spacious ensuites to both. Plenty hot water served by bottled gas boiler. Well equipped kitchen with modern oven and hob, kettle, coffee maker etc. The lounge area has two huge sofas on which to lounge, with TV and DVD player . "Casa 14 was everything we were looking for . Quiet tranquil location yet not too far from the village for its bars , restaurants and historic centre . The outside ares and pool were beautifully maintained and the villa was really well equipped. We spent a month at Casa 14 but could happily stayed longer. A very tranquil relaxing atmosphere. The owners ,Mathilde and Jim ,were so helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely return to this gorgeous property ."

"Casa Rosa is in a lovely location. The villa is as described and the village of Frigiliana which is nearby has a good selection of shops and restaurants. Stephen was quick to respond with a minor issue with a sink."
