You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

GREAT VALUE! The perfect cabin in the woods, 15 minutes away from Deep Creek.

Welcome to Fern Hill Cabin with a spacious living room, kitchen, a cozy loft with a queen bed and futon and private bedroom with a queen bed. On the first floor there's a full bath and on the second floor a 1/2 bath. You'll love spending time on the screened porch or just relaxing around the campfire. A short drive will get you to all the great spots the Deep Creek area has to offer. Please be advised a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is needed for the winter months. My recommendation is from Nov. 1 to Apr. 15. Roads are plowed but the area can receive several inches of snow at any one time. Please be advised we provide no towels or linens for beds. Please bring your towels, sheets and pillowcases for queen beds (king size sheets would also work).

Away from it all !
We stayed in this cabin, a handful of times it’s definitely peace and solitude! This last trip was definitely a very nice snow trip. The snowy scenery was beautiful. The plow truck was there and even shoveled our steps to the place. Can’t asked for anything more than that. we will be planning our next trip soon.

We had a great time during our stay. We were conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit while still being tucked in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. It was such a cozy, cute cabin!

Beautiful location
The cabin was clean, cozy and well stocked. It rained for most of our trip and we hung out on the screened in porch just taking in the beautiful scenery and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book again.

Adorable, well appointed, and cozy cabin
Had a wonderful time at this sweet little cabin. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of cozy places to lounge and read or play board games. The beds are super comfortable. The screened in porch and fire pit made for a fun stay with lots to do. I recommend this spot for a cozy getaway in the woods.

Perfect Retreat!
We were there for a work retreat and the cabin was perfect. Clean and neat with everything we needed. Nestled in quiet woods with beautiful views and trails just out the back door. Even in the chilly, rainy weather the screen porch was delightful! The owners were very responsive and made sure our stay was excellent.

Nice family getaway
We had a lovely stay. The place was very clean. I think it’s great to bring your own sheets and towels. I also brought hand towels and a dish towel which were useful. The host thought of many details and I ended up not needing a lot of the extra supplies that I had packed. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Get-away!
It was a perfect quiet weekend away that was enhanced by a beautiful snowfall. I do enjoy the snow. I'm looking forward to experiencing another stay during another season. There were more things to do that I didn't get to this time!

Escape from suburbia
If u want to escape from city life, check out fern hill cabin. Comfortable, clean, everything u need plus things u may have forgot! Easy to enter cabin and owner very nice touching base with us during a wind storm. We would definately rent again.

We (3 gals over 55) loved our stay in the cabin in the woods! It is very well stocked with amenities. Very nice setting with fire pit and screened in porch. Bring sausage and not bacon as you cannot cook bacon in the house per house rules. Also, it’s a bring your own sheets and towels. All in all it’s a cozy place! Very clean!

Lovely and peaceful
I had a wonderful vacation here. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect for me to kayak the Upper Yough and surrounding rivers, access Deep Creek Lake, and enjoy some great road rides. Susan and John were easy to communicate with. I enjoyed my time very much.
