"Neat hotel. Set up like a motor lodge but don't let that fool you. Room was clean. Water was hot. Parking easy. I had my dog with me..the dog area was decent, but it’s very dark out there. Maybe a motion light or something would be good. I was there Dec 24-25, the island was very quiet. 5 min walk to the “shopping/restaurant/dock”. I saw they had an indoor pool, but I didn't use it. Overall neat place to stay & would defo recommend the Earth Box Inn."

"The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!"

"This is a beautiful property that made for such a special weekend getaway from Seattle. Easy check in and clean home with everything we needed. We especially loved the Wescott Bay hike to English Camp and Bell Point. Saw seals and otters and eagles up close."

"It is a lovely property if… you get what is pictured… they have a historic part of the Inn beautiful but not what was pictured on this website … but to their credit they did ..with some help by Expedia arrange for us to have the more modern suite … and it was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had period …from the claw-footed tub to the view out of your balcony of the harbor very worth the stay just make sure what you booked is accurately represented and you won’t be disappointed. "

"The bathroom lighting was extremely poor. We were there for a wedding and got ready with poor lighting. It was awful. My sister who was in another room had no mirrors in the room. We had to go out to buy mirrors. Not sure if we would come back to this hotel. "

"We ended up not being able to go on my daughter's "Sweet 16" trip due to illness. Friday Harbor Suites worked with Expedia to cancel our reservation and refund our trip. I am extremely grateful to them!! They took a very sad/hard situation and made it bearable! I hope to reschedule our trip soon!"
