"The room was spacious and comfortable, but certainly not worth the price nor rating of a 4.5 star hotel. Hotels.com boasted "4 restaurants" while in actuality there was only one restaurant with 4 different sitting areas with the same menu and you could not choose in which area you wished to sit. The older staff was also not at all friendly and acted a bit annoyed with every question or request. There were also loud noises with the creaking of the wood steps and hallways."

"This hotel was awesome. We were only here one night on a trip through the Black Forest, but it was great. It's cute and quaint and quiet. The dinner in the hotel is truly one of the best I have ever had and I've traveled a lot of Europe. The menu is set, but I ate many things I wouldn't normally and loved every one of them. "Very nice hotel in the Black Forest. We had a balcony, which was nice since it was raining. We could still sit outside. Excellent breakfast. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, but the weather wasn't swimming weather when we were there so we couldn't try it. "
