The arrival was super simple! They gave me a code to the front door. The departure, even better. You don’t have to do a thing. As for the home: it’s suitable for a place to sleep when extremely tired. The neighborhood seems safe with kind workers doing yard maintenance and minimal traffic in front of the home. The back of the home is located on a very busy road and the traffic noise is right outside the master bedroom. When we didn’t fall asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow, we heard horns, tires squealing, engines revving.
CA has bugs and so did the house. Crickets, small ants, and roaches were in the home. I told them about the ants and crickets and they told me to spray. I didn’t bother telling them about the roaches.
When we travel as a family we enjoy cooking together. This home made it difficult. There were no wash rags. (We bought a couple of sponges in order to wash the pots and pans we used). We had to use a shower towel/hand towel for a hot pad, in order to remove food from the oven.
The pool was great, however the towel allotment was not. Towel=shower/trivet/pool. I’d suggest you bring your own towel when you stay here.
As far as communication with the property managers, I heard from them a day and a half before arriving. I had to reach them through the VRBO business itself. Once I did make contact they were responsive. I had a question on our last morning there, they didn’t respond at all.
