"New construction, immaculate interior, well-equipped. Excellent communication with host. Only issue, Google maps brought me to wrong property. As house is located high up on hill, with pleasant temp/breezes, which requires significant navigating along steep and winding streets I recommend not trying to check-in after dark. If you’re new to Dominica consider asking host to meet you lower down this longer drive-up from the coast. Do also recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the streets, although the streets are all tarmac or concrete. Overall, lovely and comfortable house. Hannah. a relative of the host, met me at house and went through details of the lodging."

"We loved our stay at the Sizo Cottage. The cottage is near the main road in the Roseau Valley, but it is also secluded and feels remote. The kitchen wide open to the rainforest valley is just a peaceful and harmonious way of living. We had everything we needed, cooked dinner every evening, had our breakfast in the morning, and went off exploring. Middleham Falls, Trafalgar Falls, Titou Gorge, Fresh Water Lake, all are nearby and convenient, as is Roseau. 10 our of 10, easy."

"The Anchorage was just what we needed -- location on the main street with parking for our rental car; clean room with AC, mini frig, electric teakettle/coffee & tea supplies; bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, and open closet/shelves; storm window with a view of the ocean; friendly staff; and a full restaurant right next door! The restaurant is located at Ocean's Edge and served us breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, take-away, and even has a bar. There is also a Dive Shop at Ocean's Edge for renting snorkel gear, scuba excursions, and whale watching tours. Anchorage has a meeting room for rent available and an outdoor bar/dance area for rent. (We enjoyed listening to live music one night during our stay.) Note: Anchorage has 12 hotel rooms, with 3 on the ground floor, and the others accessible via stairs. They also have a 3-bedroom apartment with kitchen for rent. Other 10-room block at Anchorage was damaged several years ago in Hurricane Maria. Hopefully this will be renovated in future. When we were at Anchorage their pool had suffered a bit of damage from Hurricane Beryl, so was empty of water and getting painted. Also, the "beach" at Anchorage is very rocky, so wear water shoes and look for waves/current/large rocks before entering. If you have questions, ask Susanna, Celina, and Shannon, who took time to answer all of our inquiries. Very helpful staff. They can also arrange taxi to and from airport if you don't rent a car."

"Hotel staff service was good and cooperative. But our rooms did not have good Air Conditioning. AC in one of the two bedrooms and in living room were not working well at all and rooms were quite warm and humid for comfort."

"We had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the views and the birds. The decks were fabulous and there was plenty of space in the kitchen for multiple people. The host was easy to reach when needed and quick to respond. Thanks for helping making a memorable trip!"
