"For the price I paid, sharing with a friend, it was a really comfortable, safe stay. We were staying in one of the private single bed rooms - beds were comfortable and clean, room was well decorated (loved the graffiti mural on the wall), and the bathroom was well suited. The fridge was a really handy, especially with the Edeka nearby. "The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. "This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....
