"Wow! This location was simply amazing. Our cottage was tucked away towards the back in the middle of lush gardens. The hosts and staff were attentive and friendly. Best of all, we could walk to several good restaurants and transportation was arranged when we went to a restaurant on top of the mountain. Se real beaches and attractions are a walk or bike ride away. I’d highly recommend this place! "

"Nous avons été déçu par la vétusté de la chambre et l'odeur de moisissure. On trouve ce niveau de confort dans d'autres pays, pour beaucoup moins cher. Inadapté pur des bébés (pas de lit de bébé et pas de tuyau de douche). La climatisation n'était pas nettoyée et nous n'avons pas pu l’utiliser malgré le passage du technicien qui n'a fait qu'asperger avec un produit extrêmement fort. La responsable a fait ce qu'elle pouvait et nous a offert un repas dans le restaurant Le Chateau St Cloud (à 200m)...

There is a faded sign on the street with a tiny arrow pointing down for registration. Luckily there was a very helpful maintenance man who walked us to the front desk."

"Cocotier Du Rocher is a great spot to stay on La Digue. 6-8 minute bike ride to the main village, and 15-20 minutes by bike to Grand Anse and Anse Source d'Argent. My room was very spacious with AC, ceiling fan and well-stocked kitchen. The grounds are really nice as well... definitely get the island vibe. Stephan was super cool and helpful. He hooked me up with bike rental, shuttle to/from the ferry, and even some laundry. Note: Try to book ferry in advance as it can fill up at peak times. "

"Das Problem an der Unterkunft sind die ganzen Tiere. Da nur Lamellentüren verbaut und im Bad keine Fliegengitter sind, kommen viele Insekten in das Apartment. Bei der Ankunft musste ich eine große tote Kakerlake aus der dusche bergen und etliche Ameisenhaufen entfernen. Das schöne am Apartment ist der riesige Balkon mit Blick auf die Landschaft und den Ozean."
